Ever since Salman told him he went wrong by not accepting what "kind of" relationship he and Diandra had, he always accepted the mistake. Probably because he values Salman's opinion a lot and doesn't disrespect him.
Even in today's episode, when Diandra after seeing those videos, all of a sudden put all the blame on Gautam saying "you deserve my silence", he didn't say a lot. The only thing he said was "you are reacting after seeing bits and pieces". Very true, he doesn't need to own up the baggage Diandra saw because in 85 days, so much of baggage was thrown at each other. But when it comes to accepting his mistakes and respecting opinion from outside, he knows what he is doing.
Actually it's because he respected outside opinion a lot that he ended up not accepting his flirting to Diandra. As she herself said "dil ke to ache hein yaar"...Upen and Karishma, take note!!!
