While I firmly believe that the show is scripted, I do agree with you that for whatever reasons Gautam is extremely popular. Like crazy popular (at least in my circle - like a unanimous choice and every year it is like a war zone). Maybe that could be one of the reason why he was selected for this task.

Mindit.. i totally agree. gautam is popular and that's why he was chosen. fair enough! but what was the need to have interaction with people... obviously, he'll get info and come back and share with his friends. and sonali too. do you agree that ruins the basic premise of the show? i didn't watch BB6, but someone said.. there was similar task but mall was empty.

Yes.. in season 6 also 2 contestants.. Vishal and Karishma went to a mall.. but the mall didn't have other shoppers. Mall staff was there but they were told strictly not to interact with the contestants 😊

On colors site it is there, their task was to interact with people. The task they had was basically to convince people to give them money so that they can spend it on the luxury budget. So he had to interact with people. Infact Gautam managed to do most part of the task and managed his way to charm the people there to shell out money for them. In this whole part lets be practical. Is it not realistic for someone to to say things like ' arre aap bahut achche lag rahe hai' or' aap ko woh nahin karna chahiye tha. ithese conversations are bound to take place if they are seen inn public.

Yes I saw all the BB seasons and yes the mall was empty in BB6. When the underlining fact is a scripted show, everything and anything is possible. Come to think of it, why only GG and Sonali were chosen, just of the blue. No task or no competition was held where the winner will get the privilege of mall visit. Nope, nothing..So of course one can blame partiality, infact it very much looks like that. But it could also be true that they want to cash in on the popularity of the these two who have survived so many eliminations. Or both. Only the creatives know.

Whatever it is, I too agree that it does ruins the show premise, and doing it in this week when there is no elimination is indeed laughable. Now almost everyone will know that there is no elimination and hence a possible secret room. So now some people may play safe. So I am very much with you in the sense that I also do not like this.

For one season I want them to do a show where there is NO wild cards and absolutely no outside contact. Where WKW will only be elimination and a talk with the eliminated contestant. Thats it. Probably it will not work in India.

So that leaves us either to enjoy this farce and keep supporting our favorites, chill and have fun or just change the channel. This season has hit the bottom anyways.

Just my opinion, sorry if I hurted anyone.

raghu0307... we agree totally! i never said Gautam and sonali ran out on their own and interacted with people. they were asked to as a task.. of course! sounds like gautam did great as he can be a charmer. will watch the show and comment on it later.. But the point was... the no communication with outside world premise lost!

agreed..I like Gautam the most but do also feel for KT and Praneet. Both of them didnt get to meet their family/GF and were genuinely upset. Praneet frankly isnt in a very good place in BB right now and Tanna has had it a little rough off late, he injury not being able to meet her mom etc. I feel these two deserved a little respite and deserved the chance to go out.

First of all, sending them to s crowded mall and asking thm to interact with the people by asking them money is a ridiculous idea. Who is this creative team this year?

Secondly, why only G and S are selected? Is there a logic here?
