The guy is on a constant high - an admixture of over-acting and ostensible moral superiority. It would take enormous patience to deal with such a character... So, if he adopts his morally superior posture and says that Praneet should have "talked" to him - he is probably not quite aware of what a colossal jerk he has been all along.
