As few of you are aware that I've not been in the country last week, hence haven't written anything and currently too am away but I miss watching Bigg Boss, so I decided to see the last 3 episodes of this week back to back and here is the dope...
Much to my surprise, for the first time in the entirety of Bigg Boss season 8, the contestants have finally completed the luxury budget task with full sportsmanship. Also I am kind of happy that this task has ended on a good note.
Strangely enough I feel that everyone put in their 100%, as in the end it was all about putting the Gautam rule to an end and clearly job well done. Kudos! Some people remained the foolish self that they are, and some have had a change of heart. All in all it was a good task.
If you all remember, during my season too, on Bigg Boss 6, we had a similar task where Mr. Sidhu was the General and had his army and on the other hand, there were revolutionaries. I'm not at all ashamed to say that this time the task was carried out beautifully and not like how it was in my season.
A few comparisons I would like to make from then and now...
Mr. Sidhu was the General but had no standing of his own and nor did he bring any form of entertainment unlike Gautam, who I think surely has his warped ways of doing things but in the end does not go unnoticed. Some people find him obnoxious and some love him simply for what he brings to the show.
The revolutionaries too were picked very precisely this time on Bigg Boss 8 with Praneet being the leader. What I've realised about Praneet over the past few weeks is that he is becoming over righteous. What he doesn't realise is that he is becoming too preachy and trying to preach the game and not play it unfortunately. He surely is carrying a grudge about not becoming the captain; and it's clearly showing his desperation, which is fine 'coz that's what the show is all about.
But Praneet, you need to consider the fact that you are definitely lacking something for not making it to that position. So why not practise what you preach a little too?
Living in the house has and will never be easy and Nigaar needs to realise that one has to push himself or herself to survive here so be it doing two jobs or three consecutively - you have to do it dude.
I was very surprised when Karishma tried explaining the same to her. For a change, Karishma made sense. Ha Ha! It's simple Boss "iss ghar mai badi mehnat lagti hai " and this house makes you realise that nothing comes easy in life.
The lesser I talk about a few contestants the better it is because some of them are just not living up. Sonali for instance, then Renee and suddenly I feel Pritam too is slipping. Sonali needs to get a grip on her tear works. It's not going to work always dear. Renee I kinda had a feeling that the hype she was brought in with is just hyped up. She is for now looking like this Phuski Bomb.
In fact Dimpy is playing it real smart but not smart enough. Dear Dimpy, don't forget you are just another fish in a sea of whales. You are trying to play the card that if you can't beat them then join them but somewhere it hasn't really worked for you, as clearly you didn't make it to Gautam's wish list and funnily enough got nominated by the rest.
Anyhow, GAUTAM CITY may have come to an end, but I can see some new beginnings from here. Like I'd told all the contestants that the dynamics of this house keep changing and people will travel from one nest to the other... Dekho ab kal kya hota hai!!!
