In Pritam's case, he started hating GG the day itself. Now he is sayign ki vo uski life miserable bana denga ( aaj ke sneak peak mai bol raha hai Sonali se )

It means this hatred was there in his heart for days, he was waiting for a chance.

I feel that everyone is playing his or her game individually. Pritam has realised that siding with Gautam can only make him finaalist cant make him win the trophy. So He has taken a alculative risk of going against GG. But i feel he has made wrong calls as more and more his real negative colors are coming out.
