Yes, of course Salman is senior. So is Puneet. Seniority doesn't mean not being able to have your own opinion. And I have even said that Upen was wrong in how he played the game. But that's related to the game! His way of speaking has nothing to do with it!

How is he faking his accent?!! How do you even know that? He has lived in London and speaks English with an accent. Yes, he should try harder to speak in Hindi as that's a rule of the house.

Upen has been sly and impartial. He has been clever in how he has escaped nominations. But to mock someone's accent and the way he or she talks is just pushing things far.

We all come from different backgrounds and cultures. Everyone has a different way of speaking. So what if he speaks differently?! Salman has been around the world, interacted with so many people and seen the diversity our world possesses. Within India, there are so many dialects, languages, and ways of speaking! How can you go so low as mocking someone's accent? For such a famous actor who seems to think of himself as so highly, so virtuous, and fair, he really showed his true self.

Ellie also couldn't speak English but Salman loved her way of speaking. Why? Because she was a hot young woman?

Ellie was a class apart. She became indianized and towards the end came across as a good leader. Upen is using his accent just to impress and in 12 years hasnt even learnt hindi properly.

Salman makes fun of everyone and it did not mean to disrespect IMO. I am not his fan but I just love the way he adds a comic element else for me the show would be boring by just listening to people fighting on top of their voices 😆

I am not comparing Elli to Upen. I am comparing how Salman has treated them regarding their way of speaking NOT how they were individually. Totally different things. Of course Elli and Upen are different!

Yes, Upen deserved the bashing he got and I am also not a fan of him. Absolutely he has been wicked! I completely agree with you for this point.

But what does his accent have to do with it??! Judge him, bash him, mock him for his actions in the game, how he behaves with others in the house, how sly he has been, how he stays in bed, how he has been with girls. That's related to the game.

Upen disagreed with Salman and stood firm on his own decisions. He has every right to do that. And Salman can disagree with him because it relates to issues in the house.

I was cheering Salman when he grilled Upen for his impartiality in nominations while he was captain.

It has to be taken in a sporting spirit else then mimicking an actor too can be counted as disrespecting the actor. 😕😆

Fair enough that he likes to joke. And I agree it's very possible that he didn't actually mean to disrespect. But just based on my point of view, I didn't think the joke was in good taste.

Yes, of course Upen wasn't right. He was outright stubborn and wasn't willing to accept that he was was impartial or see anyone's perspective. However, it was relevant to the situation and happenings of the game.
