I felt it too... that Pritam is faking it... so that the others are confused and at the same time to protect Gautum from the ire of the BG gang.
Also the fight may be fake... so that they can infiltrate and break BG... only that Praneet went overboard.

Fingers crossed what I think is true... that all this was an act for BG's benefit... man that would be epic😆
