Greetings, fellow Bigg Boss 8 viewers.
I have decided to create this post in order to demistify what is going on with the contestants aforementioned in the title. I hope this will server as an answer to those hundreds of threads created on the same matter.
Before beginning, I request that all criticisms I receive should be only from people who actively use their brain. Thank you for your cooperation.
Recently, as we all know, the "P3G" group has been breaking. For me, there are only a "PG" group (consisting of Pritam and Gautum), although they had good relationships with the other 2 P's (Praneet and Puneet). However, 3 people have destroyed this group - I'll get to motives later. Those 3 persons are Praneet, Dimpy and Puneet.
Praneet was the first to implant, in Pritam's mind, animosity towards Gautum. Pritam being as gullible as ever fell into the trap. Praneet continued to pick fights with Gautum and succeeded in painting Gautum as the culprit in Pritam's eyes.
Dimpy, unlike Praneet, targeted Gautum. She showed Gautum how Pritam and Praneet are not actually his friends. She also had some part, albeit very little, in making Pritam break his friendship with Gautum.
The final mastermind of this plot is Puneet. With his appeasement strategy, either willfully or unintentionally, created major drifts between Pritam and Gautum. He agreed with Gautum whenever he was saying Pritam was not his friend, and agreed with Pritam when he was doing the same.
Now let's get to motives. The obvious reason for Dimpy and Praneet doing this was to sideline Gautum. After being named as the most popular in the house, it is obvious others would be jealous of him. As for Puneet, I think his part in this was unintentional for the most part. I don't think he would gain much by breaking his own support system.
Despite all this, I'm honestly glad that "P3G" as a whole has been broken. Pritam was strong at the start, but then became too swayed by others' words. If he wanted to be captain, he could have just talked calmly to Gautum about it. I don't think he would have refused. However, he started talking about him behind his back and so on. I don't think he would have done much good to Gautum. I never considered Puneet and Praneet real friends of Gautum, so there is obviously no issue with them drifting away from Gautum. The former of them is a pathological liar and the latter is just a jealous guy attempting to gain some footage.
What these contestants don't know is that a tiger hunts best alone. Gautum by himself is at his best, and this upcoming week will only cause a huge spike in his popularity. Therefore, I think we Gautum fans should in fact be thanking those responsible for finally breaking this flimsy group.
In conclusion, I just wish they send a pet in for Gautum. I think that's all the friends he needs to continue to be the strongest contestant in the show.
