Yes he does have a soft toy. During the telephone booth task, one of Puneet's tasks was to tell Praneet to steal Aarya and Sushant's soft toys and put them in the storeroom. Praneet said that Simba (Aarya's soft toy) is his best friend and he loves it a lot.

I had the same reaction as you when I saw that. It's really very weird for a 32 yr-old guy to have a soft toy that he loves a lot That doesn't gel with the fake image he projected on the first day. You can check the soft toy task here as from 2:35
