2 Contestants Sinking Gautam's Ship!!

I am a big fan of Gautam and as of yet I do not think there has been any damage to his fan following but watching today's episode made me realize how things might change soon. 2 contestants in my opinion are bringing him down. One is Sonali and the other one is Puneet. I am in no way saying that Gautam is innocent and these two are manipulating him. I am just saying that being with Puneet somehow brings out the worst in him and being with Sonali is sort of portraying him in a bad light.

Gautam's USP has always been that he is totally straightforward, honest, says exactly what he feels, uses his brain yet highly impulsive and a fun person. Being with Pritam and Praneet somehow highlight these aspects and portrays him in a good light.

Gautam however is being a total ass kisser of Puneet thing that he has a lot of connections in bollywood and being his sidekick would somehow give him his big break. His number 1 buddy has somehow now become Puneet. With Puneet he ends up being like him i.e. bitching about others behind their back and saying something else on their face. This is not the Gautam people love. This is not how a hero that he is in the minds of the audience is supposed to be. He needs to distance himself from Puneet asap just as Pritam and Praneet have done. They have been really smart about it. They still hangout with him and all but they have sort of stopped trusting Puneet that much and they are no longer influenced by him. Gautam needs to do that same. Come out of Puneet's shadow.

With Sonali the deal is that he is attracted to her for sure but he knows its temporary. When he comes out of the house he will meet a lot of other similarly hot and attractive girls and he might be attracted to them. He knows very well that Sonali is not close to the kind of girl he would think he is compatible with. He is not confused about his feelings for Sonali. I think that his dilemma is that he does not want to be with Sonali but he also does not want to let go of the opportunity to get footage. He has not made up his mind about it because he does not know whether the audience outside will like it or not. And in this indecisiveness he is tarnishing his image. He needs to make up his mind and stick to whatever decision he makes. The decision itself will not matter much as long as he sticks with it till the last day of the show. Sonali also just clearly wants footage to stay longer in the show.

Gautam needs to come out of the groupism thing just like Pritam and Praneet have done very smartly and rightly. They are a part of P3GS but they have their own identity besides that. I fear that if Gautam stays with Puneet and Sonali longer he will loose out his very very strong individuality and identity that he has created since the beginning of the show.

Initially Arya, Diandra, Karishma were the most hated ones because they were operating as a group with no individual identity. But now somehow Arya has become a lot more tolerable because he has somehow found his own personality as the goofy one. Similarly Karishma became a lot more tolerable because now she has stopped being the speaker phone for others.

Today I was shocked that being totallly against Diandra, I ended up liking her. She was so straightforward, coherent and made so sense. I am still finding it hard to believe. Plus the last one minute in the end where she pointed out the double standard of Puneet and Gautam sort of projected her in a better light.

Gautam ended up looking like a hypocrite today all because he was under the influence of Puneet - not saying that Gautam is naive or anything but he has taken a wrong judgment call in the sense that he things Puneet will help him with his Bollywood dreams.

All I can do is just pray that Gautam gains some sense and smartly distances himself from Puneet and makes up his mind about the showmance with Sonali. If he wants to go ahead with it then he should take a decision and continue with it with conviction. If he decides against it then he should stick to it but one clear decision is very much needed now.

I hope so tooo!!! the thing is his showmance is bothering us so much because I feel we know its showmance and we know its showmance because Gautam is being so fickle about it and is making it obvious that it is showmance. Trust me my gut feel says that even if he decides to go further with the showmance then he is such a convincing actor that we would have a reallly hard time guessing whether its showmance or romance.

I would personally prefer him without all this showmance crap but I would prefer showmance to the current confused state he is in

Praneet doesn't follow groupism, he has mind of his own. he think from his brain and act from his heart. he is well respected and liked from both the groups. has a good relationship with everybody. however, I feel he gonna stay loyal to P3GS till the time he is inside the house. he has a good rapo with Mini n Diandra now.
