Ali was expecting support form Praneet in fight... Praneet is known to take right side in the fights or arguments... He is stands for the truth... This feeling is same for him by both inmates and viewers... (I may be wrong)

When praneet took Gautham side, all went against Ali... So he got punished... But there is a chance of praneet getting punished for his laziness... He is works slowly, wakes up late...
