However, in serious terms - I don't think this is a big deal. This is NOT anything close to Incest. Some people feel more comfortable to establish a platonic relationship by going the behen-bhai route. Sometimes those stay completely platonic and sometimes things happen (like Sridevi and Boney Kapoor). They (Upen-Soni or Boney-Sridevi or anybody else) never were ACTUAL brother-sisters. It was just a temporary way to establish some boundaries. And when the relationship morphs into a different kind, then things need to be re-evaluated.

Surely not something that can be termed as being good morality or even integrity on their part. But lots of amoral or dishonest people exist in real life - and they aren't all-bad. Just in this particular case, they are bad...

establishing platonic relationship doesn't have to be that u call somebody Bhai on National Television. if u really have that kinda affection towards a person then just build that relationship on friendship or something else, but definitely not insult "bhai Behen" rishta.
they are not biologically related so it's fine for me. Soni is mature and very well knows what is good for her and what isn't. as u said, there are people in the world who are immoral n dishonest and they sometimes behave in a way which is improper in the society. I can't accept such double faced people in my life.

What Ali said to Sonali was in a good way. it's just my POV.

he was concerned about her image and same thing he said about Soni.

I din't find anything offend to it.
