As the Diwali masti prevails in the Bigg Boss house, the housemates are excited as to what is coming up next. Sushant Divgikar and Ali Quli Mirza continue their entertaining assault by pouring out their sarcastic humour on each other, while Gautam Gulati who is concerned about Puneet Issar's health asks him to work out more attentively. Diandra Soares is still cribbing and upset about why is she not voted as the next captain of the house, while all the housemates are eager and excited to get reigning captain Ali off their backs.
But soon, all the politics around the captaincy becomes a mere smoke in the air. The housemates are in for a rude shock when they get to know Bigg Boss' witty decision to heat things up for the race to captaincy. Introducing an adventurous task to claim the coveted post of captaincy, Bigg Boss charges the atmosphere with an adrenalin rush. Diandra thanks her stars and heaves a sigh of relief for not being in the race for captaincy. With this task contestants witness how far Bigg Boss can take them, and why no one should ever take him or the position of the captain leniently! After putting in a tough fight, Ali wins and is declared the winner and the Captain for another consecutive week, making the housemates flinch.
After a gut wrenching, thrilling captaincy task, all the housemates are once again gathered in the living area for their Judgement day task, where Captain Ali is asked to name seven contestants whom he wants to offer some good news given by Bigg Boss and one name who according to him should be punished. Ali selects Karishma Tanna, Diandra, Upen Patel, RJ Pritam, Gautam, Puneet, Aarya Babbar for the good news task and selects Praneet Bhatt for the punishment.
Later in the night Bigg Boss introduces a very interesting OPPO task where all the seven contestants who were named by Ali are given a chance to make their wish come true and speak to their loved ones back home if they win. The OPPO task requires all the seven selected members to go inside the swimming pool which is now filled with OPPO boards with the word "Phone Call" written on one of them, amongst others that have the word spelt incorrectly. The first contestant who hunts for the board with the correct spelling, wins. RJ Pritam is victor in this task and gets the opportunity to speak to his family.
Alls well that ends well. Bigg Boss does have a soft side to himself and is seen giving the housemates a chance to make their wish come true. It is an eventful day, with laughter, giggles, anger and crazy joy. Stay tuned in to Bigg Boss season 8 and watch tonight's episode which is an emotional balloon waiting to burst.
