I had watched big brother UK when Shilpa had participated! She was bullied and mentally tortured in a similar fashion to Gulati! The difference is only 3 women were bullying her and in this case its more people! The UK public was very intolerant and took a stand for her as there was racism involved. In this case, there is classism involved as they make comments on his career etc.

If thats the case, then Gautam has a very high chance of winning. Public will take a stand once Karishma and gang become harsher.

I understand the link you are trying to make. And to an extent there is a similarity. If Gautam wins, it will be a combination of public support and his entertainment value!

I watched Big Brother and I was happy that the UK audience supported Shilpa Shetty. Asians, Non-Asians, lots of support for her because she was treated badly by some of the girls. It was clear racism.

Just one thing I did not like. Initially Shilpa Shetty accepted that it was racism but later on in the show took a U-turn and said it was not a race issue. That really bothered me and I wished she had stood with her initial stance. Oh well. That's a completely different topic!
