Since you know so much. Can you enlighten us what she asked? How is the movie? What is the role? Does it have skin show? Or s3x scenes? What was the conversation that she had to say it has bold scenes?

Some things aren't for defending.

So if she was selected would she say No to Ekta? I suppose no. She would do it, then what choice? It just sounded like sour grapes.

Dibakar Banerjee is a top notch director… working with him will be an honor for any artist.. demeaning it by saying bold scene movie shows her narrow mind..

OK I saw the part. The way priyanka said jo hota hai achche ke liye hota hai it seems like what I was saying is correct. She didn't criticise nimrit for doing a bold movie or criticised the movie. Now if you want you can call it jealousy but clearly she didn't demean anyone

No it's not same .art n vulgarity me farak hota hai . Mirzapur/Sacred games aur ullu/alt series me farak hai. Certain movies require bold scenes n yk what ullu series is all about. Target audience bhi different hai.

Personally I think it's cope mechanism...when we don't get something ..most of the folks try to see cons in that and move on...

Dibakar is very respected director and has done meaningful work.. Association with Ekta is not bad ..we can see Mouni has achieved a lot..

Moreover bold is not issue anymore..top actress Deepika/Kiara is doing Gehraiyaan/Besharm rang./Lust stories...

However Priyanka shouldn't have auditioned but again she wouldn't want to offend Ekta...

For an individual doing things, it's same. Also this you 'need' scenes is a BS argument. 'What ullu is All about' argument is just NIL bc everyone, no matter how intellectual you're gonna pretend to be, s#x is something which is a core part of identity, and everyone is drawn to it. GoT legit had some amazing discourse,but all the explicit scenes, they weren't needed and they're the reason why the show was popular. All the 'intellectual' discourse came out later. Core attraction was naked hot people and gory violence. And there's nothing wrong in using any of that to bring audience, just dont pretend they're better than soft/hard stuff.

However, you've missed the entire point. It's not about series, the topic at hand is her comfort level and choice. Yes she did that stuff bcz she needed some work at that point of time, now she doesnt want to. And Mayamemsahab is an excellent example, bc award or not, SRK didnt do anything again, only did it initially bc he needed exposure and work. INDIVIDUAL'S CHOICE is the question here.
