Gautam might be fool and dumbo but we can't deny he brought out the true side of sajid.

Sajid Before eating Pizza: I will beat him. I will not eat until bb will remove him from captaincy, usage of abusive language, showing finger to gautam.

Sajid after eating pizza: Gautam you are a good person. You are like my younger brother. I did not abuse you

I don't think he wanted to became a leader but a captain to save himself. He doesn't have fans outside to save him from nomination, it's him only who can save himself.
