Gori dance

Hello guys,

from the beginning I certainly don’t feel comfortable the way gori talks or does her vulgar gestures. I also find her dancing not graceful, instead u find it bit vulgar. Dance is beautiful and it should be graceful.

I wish we had good people in bigboss who will show grace and etiquettes.

But her dance? A lot of dancers in movies dance that way. We saw this kind of dances in a lot of super hit movies of BW. Sheila, Chikni Chameli, Choli ke peeche, Nora's garmi etc many call those vulgur and disgracetful. Kareena was bashed for her dance in Dabang in many channels. Many think belly dancing disgraceful,vulgar. 😔 At our home we were not allowed to watch Sallu movies once upon a time coz he was considered as ashleel actor.

Anyway her dance,expression reminded me of Mamta Kulkarni another renowned BW star. She was one of the best dancers of BW.

This type of dance is quite normal and very famous in stage shows in rajasthan and haryana Even some folk dances also look similar there. That's why she doesn't have an idea that it can be vulgur for some people.

May be correct .. but when you dislike someone everything tht person does seems cheap and disgusting ... Gori is one of the most hated contestant i believe ... I just despise her .. puke worthy behaviour

Tbh we shouldn't be bothered about how she dances because its none of our business neither it is harming others. But her gestures and talks are really vulgar and it is also very hurtful to others so we should protest this part.

She only has two steps.. chest thirst and thumkas.

I'm okay with her dancing. There are all kinds of dances. And dance doesn't necessarily need to be graceful. It can be crazy or fun. I appreciate her flexibility to move her hips that way. I don't find it cheap. Choli ke peechay was a smash hit in the 90s despite being taboo at the time and now in 2022, it is performed on national television in a dance show (JDJ) but that's cool cos it gets mainstream acceptance. I'm sorry but a lot of criticism of Gori on this forum is classist.

as someone who dislikes her, she's no personality or likeable qualities whatsover, I agree 100%. People judge everything by their own personal standards. I think this crowd will be more accepting towards pole dancers, or belly dancers, she's censored bcz of different lifestyles (it's almost like the way Maya Sarabhai did with Monisha).

However there are legitimate problems with her as well. The gestures she uses, are not normal or acceptable in any class, or region. I can say that bcz i'm not unaware about the rural northern culture. It'd be like a guy making humping movements during a fight, and that'd be unacceptable. During fights she absolutely crosses the limits.
