I beg to disagree coz d character Imlie used to stand for herself initially nd yes later on she was made as a doormat when d og story got expired . Inorder to fit in d mills nd boons narrative d makers made Imlie a doormat but trust me Imlie upheld her dignity until 375 epis later on she became a door mat devoid of self respect. Sumbul has never stood for herself and needs someone to prop up in every instance. Both Gashmeer and Fahmaan used to pamper Sumbul infact Gashmeer was her unofficial nanny ( said by GM himself) unlike Fahmaan and Shaleen he was never romantically shipped with her because he is married and most importantly he kept a safe distance from her nd never allowed any gossip to arise despite being her best friend and overprotective about her. He always encouraged to concentrate on her studies instead of spending too much time on her mobile. Sumbul was way more matured and understanding when she was with him. 17yr old Sumbul was more matured nd understanding compared to the current Sumbul. Ppl used to misunderstand Gashmeer coz he's unfiltered but a very real person. He used to scold Sumbul when she uses her phone too much nd urges her to study nd some ppl used to misunderstand him nd often called him rude when in reality after every such scolding he used to pamper her . So it is d basic nature of Sumbul of being too close nd friendly to 30 plus men and she enjoys pampering and attention. The moment she gets ignored she starts to do things to gain attention. Both her co stars doted upon her but I must say only Gashmeer didn't allow any linkup rumors while her other Co star enjoyed ppl shipping them despite claiming she's only his good friend.
