Yeah thats what even though i did not like her she was popular on SM , so it was a little surprising that when yesterday i saw instead of winner others r trending.

And generally celebs even if they dont support they give formal congratulations and move on, this was a surprise.

There were many blue ticks that came out in support of her win! Teja is trending but her trend started a little later as we were trending her upto the live voting. So people took a tiny break and bounced back. Right now "LEGENDARY WINNER TEJASSWI", "PHOENIX TEJASSWI CONQUERED" and " #TejasswiPrakash" are all trending in twitter. Many many people voted for her. I personally know a lot of people who diligently voted for her. International fans voted for her, me being one of them. Also, many of those fans gave a email address they are okay with sharing to fans in india so they can live vote for them. Teja and Pratik were leading a tug of war in votes till the end.

No i meant not any planned trend, like general celebratory trend just the name or something. Like pratik was trending after results.

Oh okay , actually most ppl i know online and offline( who have no connection to SM) were actually not rooting for her , so my perception was based on that. And there was quite an outrage after the announcement yest, for any other season i havent heard of that happening. So it was lil confusing.

Also all this trending and all, though fans do participate, but it is the work of a very active and organised PR team, helped by fan groups. Karan, Shamita, umar and pratik had very strong team that made use of bots and did trends.

Anyways as I keep saying, I'm glad all this playing BB outside didn't benefit those who did this and hope next season HMs don't invest in all this SM circus.
