Agreed. She probably thought - let me take this drooling dude along, use him, deviate him from his game, weaken his spirit, and surge ahead to victory line by overtaking him.

Otherwise, why would a girl who initially kept saying - I dont want any love angle on the show, suddenly create this angle within minutes of Farah leaving!
