My thoughts on this WKW

I originally posted in Teja appreciation thread but thought of sharing this here too!

Just finished watching Saturdays WKW. I honestly don't know what to feel. One of the Nation's most celebrated celebrity came on television and backed up statements such as "Ungli Degi toh haath Toh pakegana wo", " you can't pick and choose when to be comfy and when to be uncomfy". He said that Devo shouldn't have done this from the beginning and it was just a joke. The makers and him targetted Devo and Teja and tried to twist the narrative. Though I am not shocked but very disappointed. Yes, Devo shouldn't have supported bichukule when he spoke shit to Shamita. But, just because she didn't stand up for the right that doesn't make a wrong that happened with her right! Yes, Devo should have not taken his support despite him repeatedly hounding her for a kiss. This might be her thinking "ye Toh Har samay kuch bhi Baat Kar tha Hai, ignore him focus on the task!" But this also doesn't negate what happened with her!! Delayed response is a still a valid response!! This is a legally documented statement under the me too movement. Abuse of any kind is wrong whether its verbal or sexual! But in Shamitha's incident she has also said many things in English against him that translate into an equally derogatory meaning. But in this case Devo has clearly stated not once but many times that he is crossing limits! However, devo shouldn't have continued to take his help. However, She said she is NOT gonna kiss him. A NO is a NO! A joke is counted as a joke when both parties involved know it's a joke! This is not a joke! This is pure sexual harrassment. Yet, him and others who were against Devo were supported. I am not writing this as a Teja's fan but as a woman!

Was Abhijeet wrong? yes! Was Devo also wrong to an small extent? Yes ONLY because she should have not taken his support in the task when he started demanding kiss as a payment for his help! Was Teja correct in her stand? yes!! But she should realize that Kiss was also part of a deal but Devo shouldn't have taken the help of Abhijeet! However, like I said before delayed no is still a no. What happened with Devo is WRONG!! Salman and the makers took a wrong decision in dealing with this matter! Abhijeet should have been thrown out because by the end of the day that creep is still in the house!!! I expected more sensitivity from a national television show!

What Teja stood for is a stand that is expected to be taken and how Shamita, Rashmi, Salman reacted is a harsh reality that still exists in our society regardless of any kind of background. Today's WKW is sad and disappointing. Very dissapointed. As a HUMAN I felt uncomfortable watching it.

Sorry for the rant 😛.This post was not to support / sham any contestant, these were my views regarding the issue as a whole!

Agree with everything you said, and I am truly very very disappointed. It’s like one step forward and three steps backwards. This is not even about the game or show any more, they sent out the worse kind of message possible when there is already huge problem of sexual harassment and rapes in this country. They completely blamed and shamed the victim, now 100 more bichkule will come and think it’s ok to demand rights on a girl because she became friendly with you.

I don’t know if they truly feel this way or doing it for TRPs . They want to rage the public, want people to get mad and demand apology and make news. If that’s what they want and they may get that but it won’t take all the damage they have already done by sending out such a horrible message. Salman should be ashamed for going along with this plan. Just horrible🤢

Salman did reprimand Bichukle. The mistakes were saying it was a joke and jusitifying Rashmi's statement. Otherwise Salman didn't anywhere say Bichukle was right.

Shamita and Karan also said Bichukle was wrong and they very rightly advised Devo to speak up or if she needs help, to call out and they will stand for her. What Teja did was hijack and make the issue about her taking the right stand. Not correct behaviour!

This show has truly gone to the dogs. Devo raised the matter as per her convenience & she is lying when when she said that she felt Abhijeet's intentions were good. Which brother winks at his sister? To that extent I feel Devo is wrong & tolerated him for going ahead in BB15.

Leaving that, Abhijeet is totally wrong. The kiss matter was not a joke, he put his hand intimidating her with the SRK thing so much so that Devo had to call someone. This is his behaviour when he is in front of 150 cameras & has a wife outside!

Somehow, even worse than that , I found SK's statements. You have to draw a line (unnecessary pressure on a girl, guys should know the line beforehand), of course if Devo would kiss Abhijeet would take it (he's commited!), if someone handsome gives a compliment , it's likeable but if you don't like someone, it's disgusting (What even!) Take the compliment & don't react ( Why not? That's the Consent 101). Didn't expect such content on a national TV show.😭 This is truly regressive & repulsive. I am shook.

I dislike when the onus is put on the harassed than on the harasser. I haven't watched the episode and I don't think I'll be able to watch it too, but watched a few random clips and AB was looking so smug. Such a wrong message to give.

Bang on post! I don't what they want to imply when they are justifying the "ungli doge toh haath pakdoge" statement, do they really believe they'd have people agreeing to such bullshit even if it's thrown by the host?

They didn't want to explicitly support the wrongdoings of Bichukle, so they're giving baseless analogies like Devo should have alarmed first, she should've confined to him directly, and to their advantage they've people like Shamita, Rashmi and Karan who are agreeing to this bullshit and making it look how Debo is equally at fault😵

Also them grilling Devo and Teja for standing against this apparent giving of free pass to Bichukle by Salman and some housemates as well is horrible🤢

And more surprising is that, people buying makers b*llshit logic only because it's making their disliked contestants like Teja Devo bashed and Shamita Rashami and others being hailed for their "convinience ka stands"!

This is what happens when you have a show rotten to the core

1. The makers suck. Have been clueless and manipulated every result so far including this wkv eviction. What Juntaa believes that Bichkule didn’t get lowest 2 votes ?

2. the host is ridiculous and has been. Misogynist mcp that is often telling HMs “national tv” with zero regards to what he himself does and did this wkv.

3. when you have contestants like shammo the nepotism ki kid and prolly jiju ka clips on makers In vault. A doc that has zero idea on how to be good but actually just aggressive and pathetic every chance he gets. Lost wcs (who is Ritesh?) (who is Rajiv other than shammo ka Bhai). Why are any of the wcs here ?

4. Not like rest of HMs have been any good this season. They fight when they wanna to climb over others regardless of issues and spineless vs an atrocious host.

BB used to be this trash tv and makers ensured it this season that it’s truly the worst form of reality tv.

Who are Karan and Shamita to decide the timing of Devos reaction? She confined this when she found it uncomfortable, plain simple! Shamita had lowkey said - don't make it a matter of convinience, so even at the time of Devo raising voice, she was making an indirect dig blaming Devo. So I defo don't buy this logic of blaming Devo on the timing of she voicing out her discomfort!
