People who want Pratik Evicted

Post Rajiv's incident, I see people calling Pratik a sexual abuser, sexually harasser etc. BB did not kick him out. So now what? Will everyone stop watching the show now?

If you strongly believe that Pratik has done something unforgivable and the BB staff have not addressed it adequately, why not show your stance on twitter, tag BB and boycott the show?

No one stopped watching the show even though Salman is still a host and we all know what he has done. But everyone is suddenly very righteous and remembered morals on kicking Pratik out.

Maybe if you really feel he has done a criminal act, stop watching the show. Will anyone do that? Probably not, you will just type opinions here, call Pratik an abuser etc. and make yourselves feel better. You can't even stop watching a stupid reality show after someone has been "sexually harassed" and "got away with it", how are you guys any better?

Clearly it's muda for the sake of a muda. People of forum like to slap labels on housemates and make fun of them but forget the nuances of human interaction. No one is gonna get arrested for what Pratik did, seriously, anywhere in the world. At most, he'll get a "stern warning" not to repeat which is what BB did. If he continues, he will likely be evicted.

And those commenting "if this was the US...", no people get away with stuff like this in the US as well. Haven't we heard of the Hollywood, Olympics scandals?

What Pratik did was really wrong, if he would have been evicted for it on the spot, it would have sent a strong message. As for current situation, his apology seems genuine to me and Rajiv seems to have accepted it. Pratik has probably understood how hurtful his behaviour is & will hopefully reform. Since no one can change the past, this seems to be the best step forward.

With trp so low, I doubt people’s are even watching the show. This is most pakau season so far. Thanks to fake forced love angle, violence and boring content. They don’t have any big muda so they made it the hot topic. After a few weeks who ate yogurt will become the hot muda.

Coming to Pratik, yes he did act stupidly.. but like sallu said he doesn’t know where the line is! If it’s funny in his head, he thinks it’s funny for everyone. He is extremely immature but not a pervert.

And it’s okay to have this kind of post. It’s not possible everyone will ship the same person. Every contestant will have extreme haters who are really to label with any chance they will get.

Exactly. A friend of mine slapped my ass once with a book as a joke. Was it sexual harassment? No, he was trying to be funny and I know what he's like. But I gave him a stern warning and he did not repeat that. What else must he do? People are genuinely that clueless sometimes.

Pratik has time and again proven himself to be a dumbass. Forum members agree his is dumb but somehow expect him to be logical and mature in his actions. Kaise?

I just hate people calling him a sexual abuser/harasser. Those are some strong words and implying ill-intent.

I'm not calling for him to get evicted. Do I sincerely hope for his sake that he has understood where he went wrong? Yes.

Do I think he's over enthusiastic and needs to hold his horses? Also yes.

Is he my favourite? Not by a long shot

But as long as he has understood his lesson, I'm willing to not cancel him for his actions. However, if he exhibits the same behaviour again then calls for evicting him will hold substance.

This is solely my opinion and my reasoning for not wanting him to get cancelled because of a very very ill thought out move of his. I wish he uses this opportunity to learn and grow as an individual.

I'm in no way absolving him of any blame and I still feel he got off the hook easily but just putting it out there that I am willing to give him a chance to better himself.

Agreed, if he does it again, evict him. That's great. I wouldn't even mind them evicting him now as much. The thing that truly infuriates me is calling him a sexual abuser, harassing etc. These are terrible labels and you can't get rid of them easily but here it is thrown around without considering context which I feel is unfair. He did not mean to threaten Rajiv. He was being an idiot.

He seems to have understood now the weight of his actions, hopefully he will just pull in his reins and maintain distance. He was already iffy with the girls' issue now he should be more considerate of Rajiv as well.

His unwelcome and inappropriate sexual remarks towards Rajiv very much fall under the blanket of sexual harassment and I can completely understand why people are so cross with him and his behaviour.

I'm however inclined to believe that those verbal and physical transgressions came from a place of ignorance and hence feel that as long as he has learnt his lesson, we shouldn't be hasty in cancelling him. This is the sole reason why I have not labelled him as out to be a sexual harasser. Does it make his actions and words right? Hell no. It does however paint him out as a complete idiot for not thinking his actions and words through. He should have known better, especially given the day and age we live in. His intentions cannot always shield him from everything.

He needs to realise that he's on national television and every damn thing he says or does is out in the public eye, even the actions done with the purest intent possible can be perceived by the masses in a completely different light. This is not the first time he has been warned of crossing the line with a fellow contestant. Once a certain opinion of yours is formed by the public, its very hard to rid of it and he should be more careful in the future.

Hopefully he learns from all this. That's all I can wish for otherwise it'll blemish his whole career.

I know my friend, he thinks he was being cheeky not harassing someone. People have humor sometimes, for instance dirty jokes. Some go along with it, others will feel uncomfortable. Hence, I would not tag it with harassment. Rajiv also jokes with Pratik which seems to have made him someone who can be made fun of. Hope Rajiv also grows sterner and demands the same respect from housemates. You have to be firm sometimes in a room full of people who think they are all that.

I wish Pratik was smart but he has proven to me he isn't lol. He is game-oriented but doesn't have patience to see the big picture. People always say he has the same strategy.

Regarding Salman WKV, most contestants stand by their opinion and do not care for housemates'. They always say, "we will see what Salman says..." they don't even respect each other enough to care about opinions. I am also surprised Pratik hasn't pissed anyone off in real life. Dude has no EQ

Agreed, previously it was with girls and he was more conscious. When Afsana said Simba touched her during tasks, Pratik was heard saying, you don't wanna get into these and be accused of smth you didn't intend to do.. I know how it feels etc.

Maybe he thought Rajiv isn't a girl so it's all good? But great now he knows that people are people and you have to be considerate.

Agreed he is an idiot. At least now he learns, better late than never.
