This is the greatest moment of Pratik's life. All downhill from here.

This is the pinnacle of Pratik's life. By his own admission. He has literally said that anything he ever did in his life led him to this moment - to these few months on a reality show where he will be locked inside a house and will fight and argue with other people and compete in silly tasks. This show is the purpose of his life. Why he was born. There is nothing else in his life. Only this. He had dreams all his life that one day he will be in front of Salman Khan in this show. That dream is done. What now?

Does he have any other plans? Any other dreams? Any more ambition? Or is this it? His life is complete and now he can die in peace. For literally all the 12 other contestants - this show is not an end but a means to an end - a stepping stone to other opportunities, other things they want to do. All of them will have a career in acting or singing or something else. For all of them, this show is a diversion. Something interesting they are doing but then they will move on.

For Pratik this show itself is an end. This is what he wanted more than anything else in life. Even Salman told him, he'll probably go onto to some other reality shows after this. Khatron ka Khiladi probably or something else. That's how it goes. Maybe a couple of music videos.

Is that all? That's it for Pratik? Ek chhota jivan aur itni chhoti soch or itne chhote arman? Aur kya?

Only going by what he himself has projected on screen. Not going beyond that.

It came across as slightly unctuous to me - what he told Salman today in WKV. He said the same thing to Salman on launch night.

So we aren't judging anybody. Just discussing what the contestants themselves have said.

It is not so much his life but point of view and motivation which are very much part of the show as it is tied into the outcome of the show.

And discussion wise I think nothing is off the table. In a free society we can discuss anything. Specially on a show like BB where the contestants are willingly offering up themselves - not their art - for our judgement and consumption - but their actual selves. Consequently, audiences are free to discuss all aspects of their behavior, thinking, thought process, motivation and psycho analyze them as much as they want.

I'm not even a Pratik fan. But dude, that's so mean of you. Whatever his dreams and ambitions are, he had worked for it and he had reached it. Whatever next he may do, let him do it. Don't just go on judging him.
