That's a hypothetical scenario. We don't know what would happen if a woman was actually trying to steal a map and being held by guys to prevent her from reaching it. Prateik wasn't held in a sexual way, right?

I don't think you understand the point. NO of a man is not taken as seriously as NO of a woman. And that's why Salman asked Meisha to see that they don't go overboard.

The Indian society hasn't progressed much in terms of fairness and equality. Anything that goes wrong in a relationship, marriage, etc. etc. etc. gets conveniently dumped on the girl. Salman didn't create the mindset of people. He was only being supportive and protective of her. Rest is M's call.
