How do we know this? At the end of the day, it does depend on the votes (sure Bigg Boss can manipulate the eliminations to evict some other contestants and edit the episodes to highlight someone in positive/negative light which can/do make a difference but votes do matter in the end). One can say many could be "fixed" favorites:

Tejasswi is the Colors face out of all them and so she could be the favorite--how many of her fights with Donal make it to the episode? Jay has been hosting reality shows for years and could have a deal with Colors. Shamita has entered Bigg Boss for the third time, if that isn't favoritism, I don't know what is. And gets opportunities to highlight herself. Pratik gets away with a lot of shit which another contestant could be evicted for. Not saying that Karan might not be a Bigg Boss favorite but I see multiple contestants that are just as favored.
