Decoding the 'Hypocrisy' of 'Gaali ki Reaction'

For starters, I was watching the Live Feed yesterday when the whole Jay Vs Pratik fight happened. There was a very clear conversation that happened between Meisha, Akasa, Vidhi, Jay and I don't know if the fifth one - Simba or Umar in the kitchen area of the Junglewaasis, which seems to have been edited out of the episode btw, where all four of them clearly said yesterday that 'We were around when the fight happened too and it was not a Maa ki gaali'. This also happened especially when Vishal came to speak to Jay after the fight and they all told Vishal, it was not a Maa ki Gaali at all.

It was a personal gaali and some name calling - where Jay called Pratik, 'Tommy and a personal gaali' directed at Pratik and Pratik called Jay 'Saale' and called all the house mates 'Bewakoof' and one of the people in the restroom 'Gadhe'.

Jay clearly got triggered by Pratik's batameez way and tone of approaching him and accusing him about the whole Shamita getting hurt incident and reacted.

Decoding Pratik's behavior here -

Pratik went forward to fight with Jay, without attempting to have a conversation with him - it looked like Pratik wanted a fight and was asking for a fight, for some more footage. Otherwise, who goes and shouts at someone like that, who's sitting quietly without trying to go and converse with them and ask why/what happened and how?

So he goes and shouts at Jay and Jay says, 'Maine nai pakada uska haath' and Pratik shouts 'Chup Bey!' Who the heck will keep quiet when you say, 'Chup Bey!'?😆 So did Pratik purposely say that to infuriate the other person, instead of using a calm / composed convo tactic like how Kundra applies? He goes shouts at Jay and says 'Chup Bey' on top of that. Clearly looking for a fight.

Jay was foolish enough to get aggravated at what seems like Pratik's provocation at him and like Salman rightly asked Jay to not pay heed to this 'Bacha, whose attitude seems like he'll only hop from one reality show to another' (yet never winning any).

Both Pratik and Jay seem to know, what triggers each other off.

So Pratik knows if he tries to shut Jay down or speaks to him insolently, Jay will get triggered. And Jay knows that name calling will trigger Pratik off.

Coming to the claim that it was a 'Maa ki Gaali' by a particular fandom,

If the Gaali was muted - how did you hear to understand that it was a 'Maa ki gaali' and not a personal gaali?

How did you happen to also claim, that on the WKV Salman had given Pratik a 'Maa ki gaali' and not a personal one? I felt Salman said something more like 'Main teri G.a.a.n.d phad ke haath mein rakh dunga' types.

And again - I was watching the Live feed yesterday and none of these people that claim so vehemently that it was a 'Maa ki gaali', cared to mention about the convo that happened after the fight with Jay, Akasa, Meisha, Vidhi and another person (Simba or Umar) saying that it wasn't a Maa ki gaali. Clearly this bit seems to be edited out of the episode and the fangroup did not care to record and circulate clips of this bit of the conversation, as obviously it did not fit their narrative of making Pratik look like a Hero and Jay a villan.

So my question is - With such a blatant lie being perpetuated about the whole fight yesterday, what is the goal here? To get Pratik more sympathy? Because he got a severe lashing on the weekend, it seems like desperate measures are being taken to salvage his identity and remake him into the 'Victim' instead of the 'Abuser and bully' that he was in the first week.

Secondly, correct me if I am wrong (I've been travelling today, so I am yet to watch the episode fully) - Did Pratik claim it was a Maa ki Gaali or circulate it that way around? Because if he did, I don't think I've found a Man cheaper than this, who could use his Mother's name in vain, to get more sympathy again.🤢He already threw his Mom and Sis under the bus last week with his famous statement, for the sake of the game. It feels at this point that he seems to be willing to try any/all game tactics (victim card, I am a bechara card, One Man Army card, character assassination card) and the recent one seems to be crying infront of the camera to gain sympathy.

I literally cringed yesterday when he tried to be all touchy over the personal gaali that was given to him and cry infront of the camera and infront of the HMs to get attention / sympathy. I was like, 'Dude, how much faker than this can you get?' This was the same Man harassing and abusing Zeeshan Left, Right, Centre on Behan ki Gaalis in OTT. So why get so touchy over gaalis, when you've done the very same thing yourself? 🤢 And when it comes to name calling, Pratik is as good as an arrogant Jerk, that thinks too highly of himself as well calling everyone - 'Bewakoof, Gadha'. That's name calling right there as well!

Deciphering Intentions

To me it feels like Pratik knows that Jay will react when he's spoken badly too, so Pratik went and push that button, to get some footage and sympathy. Jay did react and Pratik latched onto the 'sympathy' card and 'I am a bechara' card. When infact, it was a clear case of Action-Reaction.

I do not believe gaalis to be a big thing, as it's way way way too common these days. Your actions infact speak louder than words and Pratik's actions, speak louder to me than Jay's words.

Coming to Jay

Coming to Jay, I definitely think he needs to stop reacting to this POS Pratik, as Jay is falling straight into the hands of person that provokes / pokes to get footage and sympathy for himself. Jay needs to stop playing into the hands of someone that wants that footage, attention and sympathy from the audience. As Pratik clearly is on a mission to salvage his 'image' from the weekend ka vaar and use the sympathy card, by provoking / poking the whoever is vulnerable to reacting, so that they slip up and the spotlight turns from him to whoever that person is.

I do think - that Jay needs to be pulled up by Salman again and strictly so this time, about not reacting. You don't want to play into the hands of a POS, that is looking for sympathy to salvage his image. Why give them that privilege?

Few things I'd like to mention over here :

1. I think Shamita was not really hurt the way she projected. It all started when she showed her hand to Prateek and said she's hurt/doesn't wanna play anymore. This wasn't the first time she said it.. She said that they should not play(or give up) quite a few times to Nishant too..because it was clear that they were not gonna win.. Now the best way to give up is to say that people are not following rules, hurting him/her etc etc.. and hope that the task gets cancelled? Now Shamita was clearly frustrated.. I think her hand that she showed to Prateek was reddish not because she was hurt but because she had just painted someone's slippers to "kill" him/her. I think Prateek also knew it but I could be wrong.. anyway, he saw it as an opportunity to again confront Jay and rile him up. He knows Jay's weakness.. All he had to do is go charging at him like a mad bull and shout at him.. that's Jay's trigger point and as expected Jay played right into his hands.. I think he called him "chutiya" which is offensive but not something these boys dont hear in their daily lives so its really not that big a deal. But this time Prateek played to the gallery, garnered sympathy from Shamita, Karan, Vishal etc... And succesfully made Jay look somewhat bad..

2. Jay is not a smart player. He has somewhat of a superiority complex and so when people like Prateek and all these boys and girls who are junior to him professionally and agewise take even the slightest of offensive tone with him, he loses it. He has to understand that outside BB house they may be senior and junior but inside BB house they are all equal..they are all contestants. He has to learn to deal with Prateek smartly so that he comes out later looking as the bigger and better person. And if he cant do that, then just ignore him.

Jay needs to recheck his behavior. He’s very rude to Donal as well. He’s trying very hard to be Shukla. I know maa ki gaali is not that big of a deal but his behaviour with Donal was off putting too

Absolutely, I agree with you on that one. Jay should've calmed himself down. No need to take your frustration out on someone else.

Couldn't have articulated this any better 👏.

I really fail to understand the hullabaloo surrounding this incident. Jay saying something to Pratik doesn't make it any true and why would you get all riled up over something someone who doesn't matter to you says? My mind is boggled tbh.

I do remember seeing this fleeting portion in the episode wherein after Pratik has left the bedroom area or wherever the fight took place, jay explains to Vidhi and the rest who were there that he did not give him a 'maa ki gaali' (I feel that there is no gaali aimed at anyone's maa to be fair, its always aimed at the particular person. In this case had it been a maa ki gaali, it would mean the person is vile and not their mother but whatever) and the general consensus amongst those present was that it was indeed not what Pratik was making it out to be. However, on the other side, Pratik was seen crying and hitting walls asking for people to stop abusing his mother. He was clearly making it out to be a maa ki gaali. As many weren't there when the fight ensued, they assumed Pratik was indeed being true about what conspired in the bedroom.

Let's face some facts, Jay did not seek Pratik out and abuse him (yes him & not his mother) out of nowhere, he was minding his business, it was Mr Sehajpal who came rushing at him with aggression and overbearing insolence. Jay has made it clear that he cannot stand disrespect, that's his trigger just like the mentions of his family in any sort of negative setting triggers Pratik.

People, ready to crucify Jay for his continuous use of words (idk how doing something once after learning it triggers the other person is considered continuous, but we are beyond the realm of logic now), seem to turn a blind eye to Pratik doing the same damn thing. Jay kare toh woh barbaad, Pratik kare toh usko karenge abaad. Like what the actual fork people?!. I'm not saying either of them is wrong for egging the other one, that is not what I'm hinting at. I'm pointing out the double standards of the people advocating on Pratik's behalf. Jay and Pratik both have equals rights to exploit the other person's weaknesses because they're both here to win, koi family aur dost banane nahi aya yaha, but how can what Jay does be wrong when Pratik is doing the exact same thing back to him?

People be like, Pratik changed his ways and didn't do anything out of line this week. But he did! He got people nominated last time by breaking the glass pane, was reprimanded for it in the weekend, claimed he was truly sorry for it and then what did he do when a similar situation arose? He used force on the false partition like thing (idk if its a wall or something). His justification for doing so? He didn't end up breaking anything! What if just the intent was enough for BB to punish everyone else? Phir se bolta ki I'm sorry for letting everyone else pay the bill for my wrongdoing? This man and his logic is beyond my comprehension.

I am gonna repeat this for whoever needs to read this, Jay giving a gaali isn't wrong and neither is Pratik egging Jay wrong. Both are in the right. They will and should use the easiest option available to them to eliminate their competitions. Although it seems like Jay has the upper hand because he doesn't go out harming himself or the set when spoken badly to. However, propagating a false narrative about something is wrong. Pratik knows well what kinda gaali Jay gave, trying to milk the situation by making it out to be something it isn't is gonna land him in more trouble than he thinks.

Also before anyone walks in here on their high horse and tells me I'm being a hater for calling BS out then no, sorry, you cannot let your admiration for someone cloud your ability to distinguish right from wrong. I'm not hating on Pratik, and neither am I a fan of Jay. I honestly find his ego and pettiness hard to digest. But this needed to be said.

This selective outcry needs to stop. Pratik gaali de toh chalta hai, heat of the moment mein ho gaya, he has a good heart, his intent wasn't wrong and what not. But Pratik ko gaali pade toh, oh my god, let's burn the world down! He's a grown man people, he knew what he signed up for. If he thought he'd go to Bigg Boss, stay for 3 months and not hear a single unsavoury comment from anyone, he's a fool. Plainly put, he's better than that. He wants to milk anything and everything as long as he feels it'll gain him traction in the game.

Jay needs to stop paying heed to Pratik and maybe cut down on the pettiness while we are at it and Pratik needs to stop with his woe is me narrative, no one is buying it. Jay not indulging in an argument with Pratik would be more insulting than actually giving him the attention he craves.

Wasn't it so obvious that Shamita was trying to be a 'Delicate darling'?😆 She was obviously frustrated that they could not win and they did not have an edge on this - so she pretended. We've seen Shamita since OTT days and anytime she's not having things go in her favor, she lashes out and most of the times, it's manipulatively so.

Pratik does not care the heck for Shamita - He was willing to go mess with the bathroom's lock when Kundra placed a clear condition forward, that if he messes in their space, they'll touch Shamita's belongings. He didn't care the heck for her.😆

All of sudden he had SO much sympathies for Shamita's pain? Obviously he was hyping her up, because she was on the side of the losers i.e Pratik, Nishant, Shamita and was getting frustrated feeling defeated by the Junglewaasis as well, so pretended to care for Shamita and pick that muddha up to get more footage.

Jay definitely is not using his brains. He is playing into the hands of a POS. Salman has to pull up Jay on that and very strictly so this time. No need to give Pratik any attention, because that's what he wants. Jay should get that clear and straight.

Very good post as usual and I am finding Pratik getting worse day by day. I made a long post about it and I was right that Pratik won’t change.

For me Gali is not a bad thing and I am not a huge Jay fan either - but I am not able to understand that when Pratik knows Jay has a penchant to swear why go and provoke him? He starts something and then when going gets tough he buckles.

Jay looks a bit uncomfortable and I don’t think he has found his footing but more than that it’s that man child that gets on my nerves.

Let’s see how this WKW goes though.

As many weren't there when the fight ensued, they assumed Pratik was indeed being true about what conspired in the bedroom.

Exactly. I don't find gaalis to be a big deal at all! We're in Season 15 and we've seen the worse of gaalis uttered by people in the past and this is hilarious to be, how his fans are getting all touchy on this subject matter! The claim that Pratik has never given a gaali? Excuse Me? Explain the Behan Ki Gaali given to Zeeshan in OTT. Pratik is from Delhi and gaalis in Delhi are like second language and he's done that with Zeeshan and Pratik's name calling of using words like 'Bewakoof', 'Gadhe' on people are what, words written in the holy scriptures?🤣

It was pure cringe and hecka funny when Pratik was slapping himself and hitting walls. He should've slapped himself harder last week, after getting 15 people nominated, after doing the latch kaand, after jumping at Jay hearing a half-baked convo between Jay & Nishant, on the 'you're a bigger celebrity' part. Why didn't he slap himself then?

@bold - He was ABSOLUTELY making it out to be a Maa ki Gaali, when in fact he was lying through his teeth to gain more sympathy. I mean, how can you use your Mother to go ahead in the game, trying to gain sympathy on her name? That's plain, cringe and disgusting.🤢

Both of them know each others' trigger points, yes.

Jay and Pratik both have equals rights to exploit the other person's weaknesses because they're both here to win, koi family aur dost banane nahi aya yaha, but how can what Jay does be wrong when Pratik is doing the exact same thing back to him?

People love the 'Bad Boy' syndrome and the 'Bad Boy turned good' syndrome. So having been 'conditioned' and 'used' to seeing Pratik at his ABSOLUTE worse, what is a small thing like going and shouting at Jay - a Man who's sitting quietly and minding his own business? What to them is Pratik name calling everyone 'Bewakoof' and 'Gadhe' - when they've seen this Man's absolute cringe worst in OTT + Last week in BB15? It's like a Narcissist that behaves in his extreme worst at all times, that if he does something that seemingly seems lesser worse yet very bad, the victims start fawning over how kind the Narc has been to them, when they could've been at the absolute worst.

Because Pratik has been a serial verbal / emotional abuser at the BB OTT & BB15 house, it's weird that people have conditioned themselves to him, claiming this is his 'normal' self, thus it's normal. Whereas, because they've seen Jay at his best when he's outside at work, this is a big hoolahoo for people. Come on folks. Seems hilarious to me, the double standards.

People be like, Pratik changed his ways and didn't do anything out of line this week. But he did! He got people nominated last time by breaking the glass pane, was reprimanded for it in the weekend, claimed he was truly sorry for it and then what did he do when a similar situation arose? What if just the intent was enough for BB to punish everyone else? Phir se bolta ki I'm sorry for getting everyone else pay the bill for my wrongdoing? This man and his logic is beyond my comprehension.

He should've slapped himself last week for all his deeds.

I absolutely agree. Giving Gaali is a very common thing, especially in a show like BB. It's hilarious how his fans and folks get so touchy over this. Everyone's trying to make this a replica of Season 8, where there was a BIG hoolaboo about Gautam giving a Gaali to Karishma. Housemates acted as if they've NEVER given gaalis in their own lives.

Jay absolutely has to stop with the reactions. I mean STOP. This POS is not worth your time or energy.

Replied in blue :)

I am not against Jay getting a lashing for playing into the hands of POS Pratik. It would do Jay good, to have some strict perspective from Salman.

Whereas Narcissist / Man-Child Pratik crying over something like this is hilarious and nothing but a gaslighting tactic where he lied to begin with that it was a Maa ki Gaali and then, he used the victim card as usual. Total cringe to see a Man stoop this low for the sake of game - Pratik needs to find higher purposes in life.

I agree because Pratik is a rabid dog and Jay needs to not get bothered by that idiot. I doubt Jay will change unless he is been reprimanded so I wouldn’t mind that either.

Pratik has no life but reality TV. It was cringeworthy to hear him say all he has done are reality shows lol 😂 he is not even articulate to speak it in a way that it can look like he is up and coming although that’s stretching.

Game is his life he won’t hesitate to sell his own mother if that means winning a game - he himself said that he will do anything for a game.
