Yesterday's panel discussion with Salman, Karan, Arjun, Neha and Nikki was Brilliant. Except for Nikki that acted like a clown, I think some of the points mentioned by them were worthy of being noted.
There's a recent interview that came up with the Winner of BB OTT, Divya Agarwal were she explains, that if Pratik stopped trying too hard and let situations to organically build up - it'd be more convincing.
If we looked at the episodes from the first week, he seemed to have played almost ALL major cards within a week, without no rhyme or reason for him to mention those. The Fake One Man Army card, Victim card, Character Assassination card, I am cornered card. Huh? Like what? We're talking about Meisha and Leeshan's love angle taking off at the speed of a Concorde - what about all these cards propping up in a week's time with no solid foundation for those cards to be out?😆
Fake Character Assissination Card
The Audience and Salman Khan caught his bluff, because this is not Season 8 and he's NO Gautam Gulati. When Gautam made a mistake, he apologized 100 times to Karishma and everyone at the house. Took on the duties of a sevak, was made to polish shoes and we genuinely felt sorry for him, because no one in the house was willing to give him a chance, except Pritam and Praneet.
Did Pratik genuinely apologize to Vidhi when the latch incident happen? Infact Vidhi came out looking more mature with her dignified way of handling it, yet letting him know that his actions weren't cool. His adamant forceful insertion of the 'You're character assassinating me' card on Vidhi and Meisha made him look like a fool surely. Coming to his apology? I mean - The radar on conscience seemed equivalent to non existent, till Salman Khan had to come and gave him a bashing about it. But whatever. This is no season 8 and he's no Gautam Gulati.. Pratik's bluff was so glaringly obvious, for the audience to catch on to that, as did Salman Khan..
Fake Victim Card
So he pokes and provokes everyone in the house and when they give him a 'gaali' or react to him, he latches on to the victim card. We saw that happening in the fight between Jay and Pratik during Week 1. So Nikki says, 'It's his GAME to poke everyone'. I loved Arjun's comeback, 'Then GAME mein gaali kha le phir.'
Why act like a saint when you're not? He's spewed the BC gaali a hundred times to Zeeshan in OTT during a task they had a major showdown in, why act like a saint then?
He had a huge problem with Jay's Maa ki Gaali - but fool, when Vishal asked you, if you'd do the latch thing and make your Mom & Sis uncomfortable as well, you sold them straight out! Vidhi as well, you didn't care for - because it wasn't about technicalities of if the door was locked from the inside or not, but it was about mannerisms, courteousy and respect for the person behind the bathroom (Man or Woman). Well that discussion was well handled by Salman saying - 'if you didn't care for your own Mom and Sis, you won't for any of our's.' So Pratik again was caught on his bluff of his fake usage of the 'victim card', when infact he asks for that by provoking people or creating awkward situations and then gaslights his victims / targets.
The Fake One Man Army Card:
This is a BIG one! Again - forceful insertion of himself between the Junglewaasis and the main house, when the whole Map fiasco happened and they blocked the door to the Jungle by a furniture - I mean, seriously Lallu? What on earth were you trying to do?! Vishal's logic was perfect and he's shined through as a 'Mastermind'. The OTT folks had the map and were in the 'winning mode', what sense does it make to come and start fighting with the Jungle folks that were having fun? To come and forcefully insert yourself in that situation and pull that furniture when 13 people were pushing it? And then act like you're getting hurt?! Abey tu side se hatt na bewakoof!
He looked like a fool there again and probably just wanted to show the audience that 'Look Look, I am a One Man Army!'😵 To top it all - he keeps quoting his famous words, 'Janta sab dekh rahi hai'. Does he really thinks the audience are fools to not be able to see trough that BS?🤔
Fake I am Cornered Card:
This one obviously goes hand in hand with the ones mentioned above.😆 You push / provoke everyone to get a reaction out of them, and forcefully insert yourself in situations where you're not required and then pretend that you're all alone and you're being cornered. Additionally, he does not want to make alliances with anyone, purposely goes and sits alone and starts speaking to the camera. Huh? try something new dude? Lallu samjh rakha hai kya janta ko.
What's shocking is - He played all cards in one week without any rhyme or reason. I mean ONE WEEK!😲And the funny part is? NOTHING was organic. Nothing happened naturally. All of these situations were initiated by Pratik, forced by him to happen and poked people into reacting a certain way, so that he could capitalize on those cards. Now after all this, you want me to believe that this guy is 'genuine'? He's the fakest contestant I've ever seen.
Nothing organic, nothing natural, nothing genuine about him or the situations that arised. He tried too hard, looked too desperate and his bluff was caught by the audience and Salman.
