Not gonna lie, seeing him breakdown like that did make me feel sad for him. He seemed to have been swallowed by his chair as the episode progressed and his whole demeanour changed with each passing moment and it was hard to see. But, he really needed to hear all that he did, otherwise he would have completely gone off the rails and ruined his as well as others' game.
His apologies to Jay and Vidhi were sincere and straight from the heart. He just said I'm sorry to Vidhi, no huge paragraphs or over the top gestures, but you could feel the genuituty of his emotions. For me, what he did cannot be condoned but at least he realised he was wrong, better late than never I guess. Hoping this new week brings forth a new side of his in the game.
As far as I'm concerned, he's wiped his slate clean and I really hope that he ponders over the advice he's received and does take it in the right sense. Salman didn't want to break his spirit, he wanted to guide him from going astray.
However, I do feel that the Salman could have avoided swearing at his mother. He also could have stayed away from suggesting that Pratik's career would be stagnant after the show comes to end whereas Karan & Jay's would probably flourish. The career part, I feel, does more harm than good. When you hear one of the biggest names in showbiz claim that they think you're gonna fail, it does break your spirit a bit.
