And here in a rare scenario we see a prey strutting towards the predator, dancing hoping for a friendship or companionship. So unbothered, untethered, unaware of what is to come for him next...which is unfortunately death.

Good one. I could see them being friends outside, but being in a relationship with this woman means Raqesh has to let go of his real persona. Nishant mentioned that in the 'outside world', Raqesh is very outspoken, has a lot of views / opinions on everything. So I doubt he can continue playing a puppy dog or pappu to her there for long, unless he loves being overshadowed.

But in the BB house, he's playing it clever. He's careful about his image and doesn't like speaking up a lot. Is not great at conflicts or taking a stand - so he hides behind Shamita, who is the stronger voice. He's very comfortable under Shamita's shadow here. He knows that with Shamita in his corner, he can escape the bashings from KJo every weekend. He's probably very careful on how he comes across in the world outside and among his friend's circle (Akshay, Ridhi, Sanaya, Mayank, Barun, Mohit etc).

Most of them discouraged him from participating knowing Raqesh's not-so-strong personality and lack of knowledge of the game. So he probably believes, that as long as he's not bashed by KJo, he's doing well and proving them wrong AND the only way to do that, is to tag along with Shamita. I won't deny that they are bonding, but anything more than friends outside would mean, him losing himself.
