Rubina did talk about Ejaz's mental health several times. She talked about it with Kavita when she was friends with her. She repeated the word 'mental health' to give the impression that whatever he does is because of his mental health. Again, if we are accepting that he was the one who brought the issue and she didn't say anything 'false', we can safely say that she repeated it several times to ensure that the point isn't missed by the audience.

Also, this whole false narrative point was only brought up by her because she didn't want to look within. She didn't want to accept that she went wrong re Rakhi. And as the couple said that they take Salman's feedback very seriously, all they did after the WKV episode was to pin the blame on someone and Ejaz became an easy target.

I think more than Ejaz, it was Jasmine who always pointed out Rubina's flaws openly.
