Patriarchy and Abhinav

Actually, as much as I hate Rubina, today I felt sorry for her for these reasons:

1. Abhinav purush has to be bowed to. She cannot take space for herself because Pathidev instructed her to sit outside. She had to consider every aspect before being forced to comply.
a) what would sasural wala say.
b) what would patriarchal India wala say.
c) what will her maayka say

2. Even if pathidev is wrong in her opinion , she cannot dissent because pathi parmeshwar hai.

3. Pathidev told her he turned and gave her a warning look when she tangled with Arshi. So her game is absolutely affected because of pathidev’s presence.

Forcing her to sit and listen to him when mentally her mind is not receptive to his gyaan but physically she’s there is akin to forcing himself on her in the marital bed. Principal of the matter.

Totally disagree. Abhinav did console her when she came back..you missed that part. Couple can fight, anybody can raise voice, we are nobody to comment on their relationship. What matters is that they both love & respect each other.

Kuch bhi. So many times in our lives we are stern with our loved one. We ask them to listen to us.

He lets her be she lets him be...and when somebody is wrong...they are strict to correct the wrong. Where did patriarchy come in this? I mean I know patriarchal situations when I see one. And this was definitely not one of them.

Good lord!!! The person is giving his wife some much needed advice and Rubina listened to it because it was sensible advice. He is stern with her for her own good coz no one else in the house will give her proper unbiased advice like her family member her husband will.
