That was later on while her talk with Abhinav, and not during the fight and she said it as a scenario where she can also call him all that but she doesn't.

You expect her not to retaliate when she's getting bodyshamed?

Of course you won't have sympathy for Arshi, but not because of the reason you mentioned, but because she's against your favorite.

Thank god this forum is not a true indicator of someone's support. Rahul retaliated against a woman who has been abusing people throughout the show and several topics are being made by taking 2 or 3 lines out of context. Even the housemates know Arshi is just doing what she does to get attention. She herself admitted she was baiting Rahul to say someone which she could use to her advantage. She said "yehi nikalwana tha aap ke muh se". Still, how people suddenly support her. If this was with forum favourite Rubina i would have liked to see the reaction of people over here.

What should we make out of this?

What if Rahul made this same comment on his wife?

I am not an Abhinav fan but I think he is not taking Rahul out of context here as he realized that Arshi is trying to exploit and bend words to extract footage here. i

I have previously stated here in the forum that in my opinion, it's not body shaming as the "kahawat" means; "try to become wiser". My respected PT teacher in school used to say this to us all the time. I or my classmates never took it "literally "as some of you are.

I also do not agree with your opinion calling Rahul "a guttermouth MCP". I believe he is real, strong intelligent and upfront and does not bow down to bullies.

I respect your opinion but do not agree with it. His statement asked Arshi to "become wiser".

Proverbs shouldn’t be taken literally.

Rahul himself confirmed that he was talking about Arshi's weight, when she asked him that "wazan ke baare bol Raha Hain?" and he replied that "bilkul karunga".

He accepted that he was bodyshaming her and was completely unapologetic about it.

He didn't say "ki ye kahawat hai" and all that. But if you want to twist and turn his statement then do it.

Again Rahul said "haan kaha hain maine" "Jo tune shochna hai soch le". He told other hms immediately that "Ye ab mudda dhund rahi hai". Arshi said jo maine bulwana that bulwaliya. She went quiet for a bit with a smirk. She plans personal attacks and then uses rebuttals to create an issue.

He never admitted to body shaming. Again we can make the statement look like what we want to believe in.

That's because he thinks there's nothing wrong in commenting on people's weight. He's a motormouth..

Even if Arshi was insitigating him, that's not a justification for her bodyshaming. Because it shows his mentality.

And yes, he admitted that he commented on her weight, but you don't want to admit it.
