Ek just isn't the heroic victim that BB is trying to make him to be. He is utterly boring and a complete turn off. I feel like switching off the channel everytime he starts making his weird faces and boring shrieks..

As for a strong rivalry, how is it possible to have one this season? Barring Kavita everyone has literally given up on tackling EK seeing just how biased Salman & BB are defending EK for everything.

For instance todays WKV and Salman will again take Rahul, Abhinav, and Kavitas class for daring to stand up to Mr. Bechara

If only BB will stop interfering, show can be salvaged!

Individually, these lots are all atrangi and if there is no interference, they will shine!

BB keep playing safe so why contestants will make efforts? For example, in sacrifice task it was friends for friends. Why not pit enemies and watch fireworks?

Ask Rubina to sacrifice for Eijaz. Ask Nikki to sacrifice for Abhinav, ask pavitra to sacrifice for Kavita.

BB himself is playing ghar-ghar and expects contestants to create fireworks🤪

Also, I will say BB is propping Jas, Eijaz and Ruby equally but in different ways.

Now coming to Eijaz being Shukla lite, no way he is anywhere near to Shukla. He ain't that bad. Just cause he shouts or invades personal space, he ain't Shukla. This is only similarity between them.

When there is no Shukla then there won't be any Asim. Makers need to understand.

The entire show revolves around only two people - Nikki and Eijaz. That is why every second scene or situation involves them. And it appears as if Eijaz is being favored.

Makers need a storyline to suck in viewers which so far Eijaz, his quirk n weirdness is providing so BB is milking it more to his detriment.

Each HM is supa nice to everyone else and it's only Eijaz with whom not all are on good terms. Rahul too was one but Aly has mellowed him.

Other HMs needs to stop playing ghar ghar and PLAY!

Right now only Aly and to some extent Punna is playing. Rest are meh!

There will be nobody like Asim i am still not over the fact he did not win last season He was a gem to this show and he made season 13 as big of a success it was. People loved him to the point that he was so very close to snatch the pre-decided victory from shukla 👍🏼 I still remember him in premier episode...I was sure he will be out in a week or 2 and he will be a punching bag to Paras. I never thought i would support him the way i did and he would gain millions of fans as a result of BB...even John Cena supported him Oh how i miss that guy 😔

They can easily bring out a partial shukla in one of these contestants but an Asim to complete the rivalry?...not possible. If the makers are trying to make this season as successful as season 13 they need to stop cause that won’t work. They instead need to work on at least not making it as bad as season 9 and 12

On point post as usual. I agree with it except that I feel Eijaz is being presented as Gautam Gulati 2.0 rather than Shukla. Eijaz emphasis that he came alone and will go alone and on weekends Salman repeats that the whole house is against Eijaz. Rubina is refusing to play the part of Karishma Tanna, IMO, and thus BB's frustration.

This season is boring as it gives a sasta deja vu feeling. Jaan - self proclaimed Mastermind aka Vikas Gupta. Pavitra - Eijaz - Obsessive, supposedly one sided love aka SidNaaz. Rahul - Nikki & Disha aka Paras Chhabra - Mahira & Akanksha. Nikki seems like Arshi 0.5.

By hook or by crook they got a successful season last time.

They are using the same template this time but investing on wrong contestant.
They should know pouring old sauce in new bottle will not work. The sauce is stale and the bottle is of different shape!

Last season, morally, was bad. This season is worse!

They need to fire the current creatives and invest in better ones.

True, even I felt that Salman had a soft corner for Asim, especially in the last month.

But the format of the Weekend episodes were such that Salman really put him down and tried to discourage him. He'd talk to him in a condescending way, laugh directly at his problems, and just brush off his issues by making fun of his 'accent.' Even when the Paras/Asim argument happened when Paras was mocking Asim's financial status, Salman didn't bring it up at all. Instead, they talked about a throwaway moment where Rashmi said something to Arhaan about Shukla and Salman just bashed Rashmi for bitching. Basically, the script was such that Asim was designed to be ignored.

To be honest, I'm a big fan of Asim but I have to admit - they both knew exactly how to use each other to get the right footage. 😆 Sid used Asim and Asim used Sid very nicely when needed. It was like a game of chess between two sharp players, they both found ways to be 'right' in the same fight for each of their fanbases. Season 13 was something else man!

To be honest I feel like BB13 was a success despite BB, not because of BB. 😆

Creatives toh were planning some bed-friends-forever nonsense, 1 mid-season finale, central focus of the show on Shukla vs Rashmi with Arhaan being a key player halfway injected into the show. They ended up with an amazing organic Asim vs Sid rivalry that really saved their asses! Plus, they had a whole bunch of firecracker contestants to fill out the space too - Paras, Mahira, Shefali, Bhau - and how can we forget Shehnaaz! It was truly a dream cast when we think about it in hindsight, and the surprises came not from their chosen favorites but from the less-expected ones. It worked because half the fanbases rallied against the biasedness, but the actual design of the show was supposed to be something else!

Yes, even I can't believe he didn't win last season to be honest. I really thought they were going to try to wash their hands clean from all the filth they allowed Shukla to spread, especially after the violence episodes and since a number of prominent feminists were making noise about him manhandling Shehnaaz on Twitter. They did somehow try to do that with the Rajat Sharma episode though. This is why I'm confident he had a winner clause in his contract. After working in the PR business for over 5 years (not in India, but still), I just find it hard to believe that a show as huge as this took a giant PR risk like that, so it must be a contractual agreement.

And yes, I totally agree - Asim Riaz is the best player to ever play the game in my opinion. Other all-time legendary ones like Gautam, Hina, Vikas, etc. at least had support from the show. Even Gauahar, who rose to fame as a rebel figure opposing Salman, didn't face anything close to the biasness Asim did! Hina was shown negative and Gauahar was shown wrong, but both were plenty shown as important figures. Asim se toh every chance they could cut footage and focus on SidNaaz, they did. He was sometimes in the background for whole episodes! They even tried to start a rumor out of nowhere to defame him about him double-timing a girl, who herself was denying it on Twitter! Still, Asim was so smart in how he handled everything. He knew which muddas to take, which ones to drop, and when to just say sorry and move on even though it wasn't fault. He knew when to rise up to the bully, and when to just let it go and play the victim. I am just as much fan of his as a player as I am of him as a person. Very sharp mind. Miss seeing him on the show. He really brought life into the whole house with just his presence, even when his scenes were only limited to him working out in the gym he found little ways to entertain (like annoying Vikas, on-off friendship with Sana, savagely ignoring Shefali etc.) 😆

Its been extremely clear since day one that this year, BB is deliberately trying to appear biased. It creates controversy, fuels far wars, and eventually is good for all contestants in the long-run. Tonight's episode was absolute heights. The way BB manoeuvred for Rubina and Abhinav to go into the pinjras is absolutely beyond any logical explanation besides the desperate attempt to start a meta-storyline where viewers begin talking about how biased BB is. Then, now they are actively discouraging every contestant who isn't Eijaz, Nikki, Pavitra (unless she goes against Eijaz) and Rahul (unless he brings up nepotism lol). The biased narrative worked because the rivalry was/felt real. Even till date, both Asim and Shukla try to avoid taking each others' names in interviews and social media even though they both talk about BB openly. That rivalry was great because it was real and it fueled the biased narrative, not the other way around.

2. Sidharth Shukla 2.0 sucks

Those active here last year might remember how firmly I was against Shukla as a contestant. I found him rude, brash, misogynistic, homophobic, lazy, egotistical, violent - and just basically an overgrown manchild whose mother unfortunately never raised him out of the spoiled kid phase. But no matter what at least he was entertaining. He was funny, charming when he needed to be, and actually seemed to believe, and thus rise to his own hype. Meanwhile, Eijaz is a terrible hero figure because, by all accounts, he has Shukla's negatives without having any of his positives. Eijaz is just boring. They can push and nudge him towards a love angle, or even manipulate the narrative to victimize him however much they want - he just isn't an interesting guy. Pakao hai. And him walking around like he owns the place without having anyone take him seriously is just a sad sight for everyone to see.

(finally, and most crucially)

3. Asim Riaz 2.0 doesn't exist

Remember - season 13 was planned to be a Shukla vs Rashmi season. No matter how you feel about Rashmi (and I personally like her alot) but it is true that she was a colossal disappointment in the BB house. Her game was off, she constantly needed support, and she would disappear from the limelight for days on end. Didn't help that BB discouraged her. But, BB lucked out because they happened to randomly cast a guy the day of the premier who would bring the entire show to life - Asim Riaz. Asim was truly masterful in playing the game - he played the victim card exactly when and how he should have ("normal pants.. normal shirt..." 😆), he showed his aggression towards the makers on the biasedness ("chai shai pilao") and kept his entire fanbase glued with his sharp instinct of which battle to fight and which to lose. Even though he was constantly ridiculed by Salman, he never lost his cool completely with him and was so quick to apologize that even Salman became endeared with him by the end. He smartly handled biased situations with the knowledge that presenting the bias can work in his own favor, which it did. He was even smart enough to totally avoid Shefali J, who was so desperately trying to start a rivalry with him for weeks, just so that the main narrative of the show stays as Sid vs Asim, since he had already sensed that Sid was being supported.

Without a player like Asim, season 14 is doomed. They will keep chadaoing their cheap knock-off Shukla (who himself is a cheap knock-off Salman, who is the messiah of the overgrown manchild syndrome 🤣), and it will mean nothing.

They just need to stop trying to turn BB14 into BB13 and just let the cards fall wherever they may. There is some real potential in the show. Nikki, Rahul, Rubina, are all great contestants but the Eijaz spotlight is bound to discourage them sooner or later. Even Abhinav has been showing so much fire lately, and now he's been caged for no reason. Don't know wtf this (un)creative team is trying to do this time.

Everything is bang on but please add Shehnaaz and Paras to the list. Without them Sidsim would have been just gali galoch.

I personally feel, everyone were in their own comfort zone till Paras provoked Asim regarding his state and brought Sid closer to Asim by talking about the former's drug habits.

Shehnaaz was an independant player and she stole the limelight from Rashmi, Devo and Mahira

Mahira too had her own identity. Both Shefalis contributed.

Not to mention Arhaan Khan...this man actually was the cause of Sidsim breakup.

The WCs Madhurima and Vishal gave their share of masala.

It was a volatile season full of extreme characters.

In terms of content, S11 had better contestants, apart from Hiten. Vikas topped the list. They were rangeen to the core.

Season 14 has no strong characters. Rahul has become some kind of a joker.

Rubina and Abhinav were Mr and Mrs almighty for a few weeks. These days they are pulled into some kind of a narrative and targeted by the makers.

Aly is trying to jaZz up Jasmine and BB14.

Kavita is the seasons biggest mistake

Eijaz can never be Sidharth Shukla. He is a good actor but needs a script. On his own cannot do anything. A big bore..

There is no Asim Riyaz Choudhary in this season

Nikki isnt Shehnaaz Gill

and there is no villian like Paras

Pavitra has potential but her biggest mistake is Eijaz. She could have taken panga with the color bahus instead of fake romance which ruined her game.

I still feel Jaan is saved bcos of Nepotism.
