Was BB13 run by clueless idiots?

This is a very serious question.

All the inconsistencies we saw this season, the different enforcement of rules for different people, and the almost meaninglessness of public votes - we were all looking for meaning behind everything here in the forum. And I'm not just talking about the bias. This is not a Sid/Asim thing, and I'd love to know Sid fans' perspectives too, as I am just talking about the makers here. Surely even Sid fans must agree that at certain points, BB should have sunao'd Sid so he could have the benefit of improvement via feedback and not gone so overboard with the abuses, misogynistic comments, and violence? Plus they made the favoritism so obvious, it cost Sid alot of support he initially had (huge amount of Asim/Sana fans were once SidSim/SidNaaz fans before they became exhausted with the double standards).

When we look at Mujhse Shadi Karoge - which is a mini/spinoff version of BB13 made by the same channel and I'm sure many of the same creatives, we see a COMPLETE lack of planning, direction, adherence to format (if there even is a format), and consistency. Every few days, the rules change in the show and there is literally no concept of format explained. Voting lines were opened without telling the audience its a vote based show, and then the bottom 2 were declared for whom Sana and Paras made a final decision. Then, the decision was reversed and Sana/Paras were taken out of the house saying spending time with them now has to be 'earned.' This makes zero sense. It feels like the BB13 connections week where the 'money rain' task happened and there were 2 huge episodes around cheating allegations, which was totally unaddressed in weekend ka var and it just ended up costing Vishal his place in the finale. Similarly, when Asim/Paras had the big fight about materialism/aukat etc. it was ignored and brought back up like 2+ months later just to zabardasti bash Paras. That whole Paras bashing was a huge popat because Sana did not take offense to his statement about her dad and Mahira stood by him (two girls who Salman was apparently protecting lol). Similarly, Vikas planted the seed in the audience's mind that Asim is two-timing Himanshi. Then in the weekend, Salman tried accusing him but he had no proof so he just ended up attacking Himanshi instead for not accepting his love??? 😆 They AGAIN tried to grill Asim about the Shukla breakup through Vikas for no reason whatsoever, and then they asked Himanshi (a connection) to come to the katghera and showed her the Rashmi bitching scene! Zero format, zero consistency.

All these moments felt weird, out of place, and frankly dumb at the time, but there were some expectations of a 'big picture' plan. But then, BB ended with exactly the expected ranking outcome (based on Twitter/social media polls, online fanbase size and inside news): Sid-Asim-Sana-Rashmi. And now looking at this new show, I am seriously wondering if BB13 was just run by dumbasses who didn't know what they were doing. They either dropped major muddas out of the blue, or introduced new issues that were irrelevant that just ended up making popat and embarassing Salman, and they saved Mahira/Arti so obviously all the way until 3 days before the finale. Now in this new show, we are seeing that they are desperately trying a LOT of trial-and-error concept changes and just justifying their lack of consistency by calling them 'twists.' 🤣

Sach mein, we (as in, IF members) could run a show better than this. I'm not even exaggerating. Mujhse Shadi Karoge is the proof that BB is a very well produced show (great contestants giving tons of content and expert technicians making daily episodes in a timecrunch), but creatively it was run by idiots. They kept chasing short-term ratings at the cost of long-term credibility (with huge success 😆) and look where we are now! Highest rated finale ever. Credibility questioned by mainstream media lol.

as Asim said, action ko reaction, reaction ko action, accused ko victim and victim ko accused dikhaya gaya hai.

as Rashmi said, physical, verbal, chori, cheating, poking, mocking, threatening......shuklis jo bhi karein no action/no warnings and no gaalis from vakeel saab & BB. saare rules tabhi yaad aate hai when non-shuklis do the same act.

as RaSim said, makers/BB biased towards Shuklis. they tried hard to make shuklis win almost every task and the TROPHY as well.

Eaxctly this year there were no creativity from creatives. FD got inspired by Kabir SIngh & made TV version of the movie with Shukla. Success followed but they ssold their soul.

All the makers sold their spine & ate out of it.

BB 13 was watched by a lot of clueless idiots for sure. People who think it wasnt scripted in favour of the winner.

So I was wondering..isnt Mujhse Shaadi Karoge basically an extension of BB? a dozen people living in the house ,quarreling, eating ,and seeking attention ..whats new? It doesnt look like another show. I mean it looks more like a sequel than a spin-off. And one of the contestants Sanjana whatsherface is a famous star down here.She has done many films with A listers. I dont understand why she has to be a part of a show where she competes to become Paras's bride !

I feel all these guys who have to mujhse shaadi karoge are strugglers who have just come to act and earn some money rather than to get married. Neither do Sana and Paras want to get married... just fooling the audience just like the biased Bigg boss show

See I feel makers did have a narrative in mind from the word go ...they had a couple of names in mind whom they were willing to bank upon for ratings and content ....Rashmi vs Shukla

But Asim challenged their narrative while Sana also chipped in ! Rashmi couldn't step up her game when it was needed the most !

Now many important muddas were never discussed is a fact and I feel there were some solid reasons behind not discussing at least a few of them

1. Asim and Paras was not discussed- I feel Asim was gaining momentum as well as support during that time! This issue created a lot of buzz in favor of Asim .maybe makers felt discussing it and bashing Paras for it will work wonders for Asim ! Channel never wanted Asim to become a serious threat for Shukla

2. Shukla cursing Asim's whole family was never discussed in lengths coz obviously channel never wanted to admit that Shukla was no hero which they were so desperate to prove through their narrative...Showing Shukla as a villain was against their narrative

3. Paras was bashed unnecessarily on weekend ..I feel it was merely an attempt to milk Paras - Akansha controversy and nothing else and this was a juicy gossip which would have earned TRPs BUT they failed at execution coz Paras was one step ahead of them all..lol

4. Again Asim - Himanshi - Makers wanted to milk their situation by creating a controversy of the whole damn thing ......Again Umar outside clarified that Asim had no girlfriend while Shruti supported him ....Asim inside the house stood his ground while Himanshi supported him. ....I think Umar and Shruti clarifying things outside made things difficult for the makers !

Again execution failed here big time !

5. Makers always made sure that those issues which could shoe Shukla in negative light or shoe him as ab villain were avoided at all costs !

While issues were created in order to show Asim as the offender every damn time

So, issues were picked for discussions keeping in mind the narrative that Shukla is the hero while Asim the villain!

I guess contestants like Asim and even Paras challenged their narrative many a times and thus their execution failed

Also Shukla himself kept showing his true colours time and again which made the white washing difficult if not impossible

So, it's not like makers were clueless...their execution did fail quite a few times

Also they did garner highest TRPs

Shukla will be considered as a fixed winner but does channel care????? Do they care about their credibility. ...if they did then Shukla wouldn't have won

And they would have let go of their narrative.

Audience have a good fish memory plus few habits die hard ....even if Shukla will be remembered by many as an undeserving and fixed winner yet many will watch next season 😆
