I don't think Sid fans said that what he said was correct....most people were defending the reason why he said it...why was he pushe to say it...there is a difference...like when Asim abused Sid's parents .....Asim fans defended that.....saying that Sid abused his parents first....does that make the act of Asim abusing Sid's parent's correct...absolutely not....but if Sid abused his parents first...then most people will say ki bhai Asim was pushed to abuse.....there is a difference between defending the actual act and defending the reason of why that act took place.
See I never abuse members....but ab ek din iss forum ki ek behen ji mere peeche pad gayi...that how I should not fall in trap of people like Sid....I tried to arfgue with her but the lady wouldn't budge..so out of frustration I used the F word for her....was me using the F word correct? Absolutely not....but can I defend the reason why I used the word...absolutely....so there is a difference.....u know the saying that u push a cat in a corner....and it will claw ur eyes out....how people react in certain situations.....depends on their tolerance level....even Rashmi said a lot of bad things about Sid...nashedi and what not...so she was frustrated...keh diya.....doesn't make them all bad people...they just need to work on their weaknesses.....if Sid was such a bad person...do u think Rashmi would have let him mingle with those little kids??
I disagree. Everything has a reason, sure - but these reasons were not used simply to provide basis - they were used to whitewash and excuse away - there’s a difference. Aisi ladki - the general Shukla fan defense IIRC was “Rashmi Desai jaisi”. And it’s not limited to Shukla himself (who doesn’t accept any of his wrongs) and his fans - BB and Sallu did it too - and not just for his “aise ladki” crap - for everything he did. That’s where the bias is.
I’m no Asim fan - but what Shukla said about Asim’s family - the kinds of things he said - it’s so atrocious, I can’t even. But whether it was HMs or Sallu or Shukla’s fans - the focus was on Asim calling Shukla’s father crybaby - the way all of what Shukla said was washed away with that - again, unbelievable. Instances treated miles apart. Same goes for his violence - no one has ever been this violent on this show - across seasons. But he has zero remorse.
Of course people have weaknesses, and will act and react accordingly - but simply saying it’s the fault of the environment or the opposite person, is giving a free pass to the doer, which I don’t do. And this guy gets “poked” by anything and everything - it’s ridiculous. It is also reflective of the personality of the doer. Reactions can be warranted, I agree - s**t shaming your ex on TV, however, is a choice - and one that came very easily to Shukla - and one he twisted on the weekend and never apologized for.
If Shukla’s actions were truly just a product of the environment, and not the real him - he’d have had acceptance, remorse, and made amends. But na - he simply “raises the bar” - if you toe to his line, he’s fine - the minute you don’t, you get mocked and demeaned, and that’s just the beginning. That’s him, not the house and it’s pressures.
