Drawing A Line

Last night when Shukla was making food Rashmi started talking to him.... He took the whole majak majak into mocking her for chori and she left the room... Later she was mad or upset or whatever when Shukla continued his Jokes....

There was a video where Rashmi put a certain distance between her and Shukla indicating that she doesn't like this kind of proximity with him.... One of Rashmi fans had told me that Shukla touches her without her consent and she is uncomfortable

Why don't these people draw a line? Don't we do this? If I don't like someone touching me, I ask him to stay away from me and people like Shukla do not understand that there's a line which one shouldn't cross... What's okay for Shukla is not okay for Rashmi or Asim..

Shukla keeps saying things against Rashmi like her relationships change every month and that she assassinated his character then Rashmi goes back to talking terms with him... It just gives Shukla a free pass to say and do whatever he wants to do or say....

I am not saying that Shukla is right or wrong.. He just doesn't understands that there are boundaries.... What he does is nothing offensive or wrong in his head as he is just joking around but for people in front of him, it's not funny....

Why not draw a line and tell the guy firmly that you don't like it?.... If Rashmi Desai can't do it in front of 150 cameras then how can women do it in a bus? Or in their home?....Why joke around with a man when you have so many issues with him?.... He is just cleaning his image at your expense....

Note - I am not saying that Shukla's intentions are wrong, I just feel he doesn't have the ability to read people...

If you remember she did try to draw a line long back when he was coming too close for comfort when she was cooking or something. A big hoo ha was made about it by the HMs and on the WKV and everyone shames and ridiculed Rashmi for telling Shukla to not touch her and stay away. How do you think she will say anything now ? She will expect the same reaction. And about yesterday -- yes it was very annoying to watch him keeping on calling her chor and stuff under the guise of mazaak. Even in her laugh you could see she was uncomfortable but sadly she is kept in a position where she is only ridiculed even for taking the right stands or standing up for herself.

There are so many ways for Rashmi to actually take a stand for herself... She shouldn't just give up because Salman is biased... She should understand that there's a world outside where women and young girls don't have the advantage of being on camera

But she doesn't know she has your support does she ? Remember that shes the only contestant who has not gotten any true genuine feedback regarding her conduct in the house vis a vis shukla or anyone else for that matter. All she has been hearing from the very start of the show since the second week from Salman is that she has been targetting him and poking him unnecessarily. Heck , even her character assassination has been given a clean chit. Guests ( like Kamya ) comin in telling her shes tagetting Shukla... " Friends " like devo coming in and pestering her to gt close to Shukla... how rhr hell will she even have a clue as to what is looking good or bad outside... even then her conduct vis a vis shukla has been very graceful... yes she can stop talking to him completely which IMO should be the best option...but whatever iv seen of sidharth and his ego he will not let go...you do not want to piss of tge guy else you've seen the phool he barsaoes... 'rishte har mahine badalna' and lots more... better to remain cordial and tp be fair to her she has always told him off albeit politely to not cross his limits and give her space... anyone else in shuklas place woild have been much easier to tackle.. shes doing the best she can given the support shukla enjoys from the host (channel)... imagine Salman telling her.... he wants to be cordial with you Rashmi what is the problem with that ? ( remember when during a task on wkv when sidharth was putting a devils band on her head and she was taking it from him saying il put it myself and shukla got angry...Salman said... no Rashmi..give it to him...hel put it on your head....😕 )

But, You have Asim who voiced his opinion about Shukla, he didn't back down because he was getting bashed.....He drew a line when it came to his self respect.... In one way or another if you see Rajat's show tonight, you will Shukla being told that he puts people down... Rashmi said it too....

I agree with everything you said about self respect...but let me try n explain about self respect from a different perspective... in ojeof these episodes...when shukla got a little close to her..she said mat kar..nahi achca lagta...he turned around and sarcastically said...achcha? Nahi achcha lagta ? Rashmi was looking down quietly and didn't utter a word...remember back the scenario when she had said 'humaari kabhi bani nahi hi thi' ...to which shukla screamed... 'batau kab kab aur kahaa bani '...(ik sure you know what he implied)...this was right infront of Salman...its much easier for asim to stand his ground..he also ie cordial with him somewhat... given the history bw rashmi and shukla...its much harder fro her to tackle him... when she becomes cordial with shukla he takes a lot more leeway with her....i wish she was smarter...but she really is doing thr best she can under constsnt scrutiny on her personal life....

Asim won't be told he is playing woman card..they will just say he poked and he is used to hearing that

i think after what shez been through and the humiliation she faced bcz of shukla she is doing best she can...man she is emotionally exhausted..in one of epis she made it clear she wont be fighting wid him still she puts her opinion and doesnt back down and also tells him to eff off politely..

It’s really frustrating that she doesn’t tell Shukla to eff off. She should tell him not to talk to her if he can’t talk without mocking or bullying her.

And she should say the same to Pahira too. Who cares if she gets labelled a snowflake of whatever? Why is she allowing them to make her a continuous butt of their jokes?

Ugh it really annoys me that she is not sticking up for herself. She should dredge up the energy and do it.

She does, i do feel she should be more assertive about it though, but she's told him clearly not to, I don't get why are you trying to touch a woman you claim to despise so much ?.
