Firstly SidNaaz is liked by majority of audience (minus a few here on IFs)

Secondly Asim going gaa-gaa for Himanshi (specially till the point that he proposes her) wasn’t liked by audience outside or on IFs (this includes most Asim fans).

I'd rather see Asim being a love sick puppy than Sidnaaz.

Heck, I'd even see a whole episode of Shehnaz attempting to talk to crows than Sidnaaz.
