Shukla has promised colors he will do a show with them!

I think this the what it is. Imagine Dipika won last season had a huge halo around her, and she signed with rival channel. Colors wants to lock down the winner with them. Shukla probably had some side deal in place with them before entering.

After so much whitewashing despite the heavy pushback this is what I have concluded.

Show is successful bcoz of story never bcoz of a celeb ......have seen numerous shows flopping with celebs who have huge fan following.

Sid is nowhere famous to actually famous celebs.

Rashmi Desai is much more popular than Shukla and was literally the face of Colors channel at her prime and these fools are running after a 40yr old unstable man who has been thrown out of shows before.

Creatives must be on drugs.

After Bigg Boss 13, he will only sign shows as an antagonist. TRP audience won't accept him in good beta and pati roles.

He can't do it any more reality shows with them. He has done everything possible with the channel.

Colors was very disappointed when she signed a show with Star Plus. Star only signed her because she kept her on-screen image of a bahu intact.

Shukla was never that popular in the 1st place , at least on the level of Rashmi or Devoleena who everyone knows as Tapasya or Gopi

Exactly. Rashami was the face of channel and I am disappointed with the way they treated her.

She performed on Munni Badnam hui on IGT in front of Salman Khan. Both Ashwini Yardi and Prashant Bhatt favoured her. After she left Uttaran post leap, they offered her Jhalak.

She gave maximum performances at CGPA along with Pratyusha Banerjee. She also did KKK with the channel

She was later replaced by Drashti Dhami after Madhubala became a hit.

Maybe rashmi declined. Maybe shukla said he will take less money if given trophy. I know rashmi charged way more than him for BB. Just seems like the most plausible reason to explain the heavy pro shukla biasness.

No No No. Here, I would beg to disagree. Shukla was very popular as Shiv. Shukla and Pratyusha were a very popular on-screen couple.

Shukla was always popular among the Colors TV audience. he did maximum shows with the channel back to back.

fans went gaga over Shiv and one of the forum members Aparna di can easily validate these points.

The channel always promoted him as their face. Won maximum awards at CGPA 2012 and 2013. Left Balika, got IGT as host, Did KKK and Jhalak with them. He was also part of Dil se dil tak

To be honest, the TRP audience is evolving. They now prefer new youngsters as leads. Both Sidharth and Rashami can't guarantee a hit show in today's times.
