I definitely feel it’s semi scripted for sure!

I mean the bias and favouring and all that is undeniable.

But I feel all the contestants in the beginning Of the season are given a narrative or character to play?

Does anyone think the same? Sometimes I feel the show is scripted and sometimes I’m not sure!

Like look at the storylines!

Sana in love with Paras and then in love with Sid. Push and pull, toxic wala love! Paralleling Kabir Singh with Non clarity.

SidRa- started on a good note. Fought for most of the season, but have had phases of good bonding too and seem to be on the same track again.

Asim and Sid- bros to foes! I mean this is straight out of a Bollywood Story. Their fights is what creates insane fandom wars! Gets colors and BB so much traction! Yesterday some 12-13 hashtags were trending and were all Bb related!
bB obviously is careful when casting people. They found two people who would fit the prototypes they were looking for and would probably do the Bros to Foes part convincingly!

But why I feel confused about it not being scripted is mainly cause of the kind of level their fights go to.

But then Roadies and Splitsvilla are 100% scripted and this is something I know from a very certain source.

Of course it's scripted. Do you think bigg boss will take a chance to let contestants act randomly? Nope! It's all planned dea at least i think so😉

For the show to be scripted/ semiscripted the contestants have to be great actors.

It's quite obvious that they are not filled with histrionic talents.

It is show that is edited to show what the makers want to show. The makers decide on the narrative and then chose the segments that fit their narrative.

Bigg Boss himself plays with the contestants for sure. But it is obvious that Bigg Boss doesn't always win because contestants at times beat BB by reacting in a totally unexpected way.

hmm see that’s what I’m saying I don’t think it’s all scripted coz obviously none of these are great actors and there’s no like Re-Takes and all.

But I feel there’s a loose script that’s sort of explained to contestants from time to time and their characters or the roles they’re supposed to play are pre decided. Sometimes the contestants react against the character given and then BB to adapt them into the narrative changes it depending on fan reactions.

I think they are briefed, on what to start and where to take it, one or two contestants who are in inner circle of channel sometimes i think act like mole and the rest is handled by editors.

TOTAL SCRIPTING is not POSSIBLE AT ALL !

Do u really believe Shukla will agree to show the world that he has anger management issues?

No one can PREDICT what audience will like and what they won't !

They bring contestants keeping in mind their real personalities, their past controversies , their past ans current relations which makers can use as per their narrative

Makers create situations for contestants to react ! At times they react as per the makers expectations and at times they do not !

Makers have the power to edit scenes in a way to further their narrative and show a contestant as positive and negative as per their will and liking

They also keep an eye on public's reaction and then twist things accordingly !

So, ya some things might be scripted BUT over all show can't be fully scripted neither can be contestants' personalities !

Nah I think its not scripted... BUT... it is scripted in a meta-sense.

- Ek toh every contestant is sitting around all day with nothing to do so they plan their own stories in their heads. Shefali Bagga discussed this recently in an interview. In fact, the show encourages this too, but ultimately, due to the many hints given in weekend episodes - making your own story isn't the hardest thing. The most glaring example of this was when the jyotish told Asim he'd be good at negative roles. That was exactly the week where the negative promos really started.

- Most importantly, the stories are made at the editing table. When Shukla read the letter from his house there was a minute long silent shot of him reading quietly and contemplating. After that, he went and apologized to Asim for all the abuses, and Asim showed him his family photo and they sorta became friends again. This is textbook smart editing. Keeping these shots in that sequence put this idea in everybody's heads that they are now friends again. Truth is, every single person sits alone for long amounts of time everyday but they don't get shots like that, because there is no story to it.

So, in this way, there is a story they have decided on. Sometimes they can adapt it - eg Madhu was violent, so they kicked her out. Other times, they cannot adapt it - eg the guy they were portraying as the hero was violent, so they had to resort to the ridiculous nonsensical 'poking' narrative that unfortunately thousands of dumbasses have fallen for completely.

At least that's my guess on how it works. What's this about Roadies, though? Its pakka scripted? As in word-for-word? Or more like general episode-by-episode ideas?

That fake Jeep drive and zariwala faking people on road are mad about Sana....

Deepika gayi tel lene ?

This is a proof enough that half of the things are scripted.

Sidnaaz ka roothna mamana is super scripted
