How many finalists?

I saw a clip floating around on Twitter of Manu Punjabi saying Endemol Shine has been keeping 6-8 people up to the finale in other shows lately. This one seems to be moving in that direction as well, more or less. Unless we get some double/triple evictions soon, we're going to be left with a really full house up to the last episode.

What do you guys think?

How many finalists will we have? And how many are ideal in your opinion?

---

Also, quick question - in the finale the winner/runners up are determined purely by votes right? Is there any history of Bigg Boss doing some manipulative jhol (like housemates decide who isn't deserving) in/near the finals?

Also, follow up question - are votes legit?

It seems to me like they are for real because otherwise they wouldn't have to go through all those weird hoops of awkward manipulations to eliminate people like Khesari, Himanshi etc.

So, hypothetically, in the finals, the winner is for sure the person who gets the most votes?

Also, random thought: since the channel loves Sid and Sana so much, will they maybe break them up before the finals? Otherwise the SidNaaz fans votes will be splintered in the middle, and someone like Rashmi or Asim with huge fanbases of their own would be likely to overtake.

Finale votes are audited by an independent company so there can't be any rigging. In season 9 channel wanted Rishabh to win but since Prince got the most votes he won.

Although discussions on who to make the winner among the higher ups in the channel had continued till the last day and the decision was changed several times so maybe bb can choose it's own winner after all.

Also in season 7 Aijaz had the 2nd highest votes but they still made him finish at 3rd because they wanted the 2 rivals Gauhar (highest voter getter) and Tanisha as the top 2.

BB has manipulated the finalists several times in the past.

In last season, Romil was unexpectedly becoming very popular and was seen as a threat to the channel's predecided top 2 so a month before the finale they started showing him negative daily through edited footage and he started getting bashed every wkw (he never got bashed before that) which destroyed his game.

In season 11 Luv Tiagi always used to be in the top 2 but bb didn't want him in the finale as he was becoming a serious threat to their chosen winner Shilpa.

So just a week before the finale they organised a mall task in Mumbai (in a city Luv wasn't popular) where the people in the mall would vote for the contestants live on the spot. Predictably, he got the lowest votes (his voters were mostly in north India) and was unfairly eliminated.

In season 10 Rohan was the 2nd or 3rd most popular contestant but bb again didn't want him in the finale. So just a week before the finale they nominated him with the most popular contestant Bani in a 1 on 1 competition and got him evicted.

In season 3 Bakhtiar was getting the most votes but they didn't want him to win so they manipulated him in to believing that he wasn't as popular as their chosen winner Vindu. As a result, Bakhtiar chose the consolation prize of taking the briefcase full of money and walked out of the show instead of taking a risk and getting no money at all. If he hadn't taken the briefcase then he would have won but BB didn't want that hence the manipulation.

Like imagine if 1 week before the finale bb does an Asim vs Sid voteout. How unfair would that be to Asim? That is exactly what had happened to Rohan.

Btw, I've been noticing that BB is using the same strategy against Asim that they had used against Romil (biased promos and weekly bashing) and unfortunately it seems like it's working as social media is full of comments stating that they used to like him but don't any longer.

I think they have already revealed the most probable top 4 through the poster that comes after every brake.

Shukla Asim Shehnaz and Rashmi.

Shukla vs Rashmi is what they want but most likely it will be Shukla vs Asim with Shukla taking the trophy

Shehnaz and Rashmi seem to be way behind Asim and Shukla in terms of votes.

Winner for sure is Shukla.

As someone supporting Asim I would say Asim finding place in top 4 itself is a big victory.Very few would have expected him to reach the first finale

Holy crap that's messed up!

So, BB has been at it since the start. I guess its really heightened since Shukla broke the violence rule so many times. Don't you think they will hesitate to crown a winner who is so well-known for violence and misogynistic comments?

I feel sid won't be crowned winner for the reasons u mentioned. It has to be asim or sana. They are using sidnaz angle to promote sana i guess. The underdog theory sells more so asim winner is what I feel..if the winner can be rigged that is!

Yeah BB has always been partial. They always have a script at the start of the season and stubbornly stick to it until the end and in most cases they get their wish.

I think seasons 2, 5 and 9 were the only seasons where bb's chosen ones didn't win but in 5 and 9 they were still in the top 2.

This season though as you yourself said it's really heightened due to Sid's violence. There has been a change in bb creative team this year with Manisha becoming the lead content producer and I feel like her decision to adamantly support Sid is creating this huge negativity against the show this season.

Also there are two unofficial rules in bb since the show began.

1st is that anyone who commits violence never wins and 2nd is that anyone who leaves the house even for a day or two never wins but it seems like bb producers are going to create history this time by making Sid win no matter what lol

Somehow, I feel like bb wants a sidnaaz top 2 and might want Sana to win due to Sid's violence but the issue is that Sana doesn't have enough fans to challenge Sid. Only Asim right now has the fan base to challenge Sid.

So I feel like the Colors want to make Asim the villain through biased editing and weekly wkw bashing and highlight Sana's positive aspects and keep increasing her footage.

If their plan works Asim will lose his top 2 position and Sana will replace him but if it doesn't work they could either eliminate him before the finale unfairly like Rohan or Luv or they could any way put him at 3rd or 4th (even if he has the 2nd highest votes) like they did with Aijaz to ensure a Sidnaaz top 2.
