Actor Varun Dhawan has come out in support of his former co-stars Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz, who are currently participants on Bigg Boss 13. Touted to be among the strongest contestants this season, both Sidharth and Asim have been hitting headlines for their excessive aggression on the show.

While Asim has been warned multiple times, Sidharth has been nominated twice for two weeks for his aggressive behaviour by Bigg Boss. At the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2019, Varun was asked whether Sidharth would create nuisance on the sets of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

"Nothing of the sort happened on the sets," Varun said about Sidharth, who played the role of a rich, successful NRI, Angad Bedi, in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

"I think that show is very different and what happens inside the house is also different. It's a reality show and it's better that we should take it as a reality show only. I know both Sidharth and Asim personally. I've worked with Sidharth in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and I've done Main Tera Hero with Asim. They both were extremely warm-hearted and well-behaved outside. I wish both of them best of luck for the show," Varun added.

None of us know Shukla Asim or Rashmi outside the house. Atleast I don't know any of them personally. So they are judged based on what is being shown and opinions are formed. Shukla m may have behaved well during the shoot of Humpty Sharma , but he isn't in the show. So he is judged based on what we see.

Excatly we are judging him the way he is behaving in the show . Shukla's behaviour does not sits well in the house to me atleast . So I don't like him in the show. And yes Same goes for Asim . I didn't know him I m judging him and his personality the way he is in the house ! Period .

Exactly. No one needs validation here for their own opinions. Just bcos Varun Dhawan said Sid behaved well then, doesn't change the reality now. Doesn't matter if someone else says the same thing about any other contestant. Doesn't influence my opinion atleast

That’s Varun humbleness snd profesdionalism as a celebrity and Star not to say anything bad about struggling actors.

The fact that Shukla never got another film post Humpty Sharma (2014), even though he had apparently signed a 3 film deal with Dharma says something😆 heck uske sequel Badrinath ki Dulhania mein bhi usko retain nahi kiya, when almost the entire support cast was repeated.

And also the fact that Asim was merely a junior artist in Main Tera Hero, still Varun remembers him fondly speaks volumes.

Varun has time and again said such nice things about sidharth .

All the people he has worked with except a few have stood up for him !!!!

Aur waise bhi SS ki itni bhi himmat nahi hai ki movie set pe misbehave kare ya ego dikhaye...Woh to Colors ka ladlla hai..yahin tantrums throw kar sakta hai...

Varun dhawan is one of the kindest and good hearted Bollywood actors. He is a much bigger star than Sid/Asim, he will usually say what is true about them. It's sweet of Varun to show support for both his co-stars regardless of their roles in that one movie they did.

Wasn't I saying this on multiple threads. BB behavior isn't an accurate reflection of character in the real world. Sid Malhotra also met Sid very nicely b/c he's clearly fine when he's not stuck in a house where ppl are constantly irritation the crap out of each other.
