I make this topic knowing well that if I am misunderstood ,this post will be bashed. But still I will write what I feel as I think it's for the betterment of the contestant.

A well wisher means a person who will applaud your right and point out your wrong. And that is the way they will help your grow.

Here I speak of asim and his fans. He is lucky to have got so many fans through BB.

But from what I observe ,it's all about asim being right always. Which can never be the case with any human.

Asim is a new entrant in the industry. He has no body of work behind him . He has become popular and now from here on, he has to work hard to grow. And in this journey his well wishers have to guide him. Not just defend whatever he does without analysing if it's right or wrong . Not by jumping to conclusions about small scenes.

This way they are creating a negative aura .People who are neutral will turn skeptic.

The same happened with hina khan. Her fans also defended all her mistakes. For hina the plus point was she had body of work behind her to show and so she could again regain lost ground.

Even a salman khan film doesn't work if the content is not good. And he has a huuuuuuuge fandom. But a film doesnot work on the basis of their craze for salman. It works because of those who analyse content.

Asim is a potential topper in bb today. My whole hearted good advice to all his fans is don't be so aggressive in his defense. It will do him harm. Even with the channel and the host. And they matter. The programme belongs to them.

BB winners gain a lot if they are not already well set in industry. And BB victory could be a huge boost to asim's career.

If you want him to win all the efforts have to be in the right direction.

If You want to bash me I will welcome it but will maintain that what I have written is with the intention of improving asim's chances. 🙏🙏🙏

But you aren’t discussing Asim here you’re discussing Asim’s fandom!

You’re calling out a fandom for being so negative and all that, so I’m making my point to you that isn’t so. All fandoms are like that if not worse

I disagree with this post

1. This applies to all fandoms, not sure what exactly was the need to single out Asim and his fans

2. Other contestants have done far worse, in fact have broken the house rules YET they were supported for their acts by their favs and defended as well ....I haven't seen Asim doing anything extreme yet and his fans supporting him for it...if others can support and defend their favs for far worse things then I am not sure why Asim fans are being called out here

3. Asim fans as far as I can tell don't trend negative on Twitter unlike certain other fandoms ..at least this is what I have noticed ....I can speak for myself...I try to focus on supporting Asim instead of focusing only on belittling his competitors

4. Asim has been bullied, mocked, even pushed violently yet I haven't seen him breaking rules or going out of his limits! I also have seen many Asim fans pointing out his flaws as well

4. Also there are all sorts of fans....so it doesn't make sense to generalise all the fans in one category....there will be sensible as well as passionate fans in all fandoms ...Some who stay withing limits and some who go out of it at times....no need to generalise

When a topic discusses "fans and fandom" Ofc it's against the rules all over IF! You have been on IF longer than me so I am sure you already know this fact!

I wouldn't say anything else since the topic and posts from you sound like coming from someone who's a Shukla fan and just bothered by Asim's popularity and support on the forum!

If you had included and made a generalized topic for "ALL fandoms" I may have obliged but no thank you!

Well to each his own. For me right now siddharth is in hospital not participating. Period.

You know what , sid is actually a very lucky contestant. Even when absent he gets discussed the max. This topic is not about him. But his name will pop up.
