True. I mean, hypothetically, if we imagine Shukla to have shown exactly the same behavior he did but as a nobody while entering the house, he honestly wouldn't have even lasted a month. No way.
Shukla had a big TV stardom coming in. He even at one point was considered to be the next Dharma boy, when he signed a 3-film deal with KJo and even appeared in Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya as the second lead. He was a big deal already on his way in. Plus, as we can see all over on social media (and unfortunately this forum itself, no offense to anybody specific 😆), the countless #SidRa fans who swoon for their chemistry suggests that one way or another, Sid was going to stick around the show. He made the huge unforgivable mistake of showing clear physical violence, which has always been the last straw in the BB house. And then, when we saw he was not only just lightly reprimanded, but the victim (yes, VICTIM!) of his violence was somehow considered equally at fault through provocation using words, which is ALLOWED in the house. At that point, the bias became clear to even the biggest Shukla fans, who now justify their liking by saying dumb shit like "so what, he brings TRP" like they are somehow getting a share of profits from those TRPs. 😆 Truth is, the bias is clear, the fans see it, and the show itself knows that the fans see it. (hence all that drama last weekend from Salman about channel wales this and personal connect that) There has been no single contestant in the history of this, or probably any other major reality show, who has been SO protected, cushioned and carefully led through the weeks as his behavior and personality itself makes it a challenge. Three weeks ago, it was the laziness. Two weeks ago, it was the violence. Last week, it was the complete lack of empathy and mental health negligence he showed in the Aarti case. I'm sure next week he'll give us another reason to dislike him, and the channel will have to come up with more tasks where he is the hero/popular teacher/raja/whatever.
At the end of the day, Shukla will reach the finals, or probably even win this season, DESPITE himself. If a nobody had behaved the way he did from the very beginning, they would have been kicked out within weeks - no question. And if things had elevated to the point of pushing, then they would have been kicked out with the worst possible humiliation from Salman, ensuring a very difficult career climb back to TV/movies. Shukla himself knows this.
