That's because ... Siddarth Shukla is one person who feels that he is the one who understands the game and individuals better than everyone else in the house. He is always willing to take inputs from Salman, the audience and even from fresh players like Bhau & Vishal but only when they entered.

This. You’re exactly right. Shukla is a very smart guy. He reads feedbacks very well. He realised Asim getting praised today also meant that Shukla was looking wrong in front of Asim, also he realised Salman wouldn’t have praised Asim this much unless he was a real competition. Sid is smart and realised that he would rather have Asim as an ally rather than an enemy. Maybe there’s some genuine friendship there too but Sid is all about the game. ( I don’t think that’s a wrong thing as he’s there to win it- but he’s not all real). Asim is extremely attached to Sid and he’s been trying to anyway make up with Sid, he’s a young guy who sees Sid as his support system in the house. I’m not happy to see them back together though.

But Sana and Arti couldn’t even control their expressions. They were burnt. Lol.
