Rashmi probably dumped SS n his massive ego couldn't take it. He wants her to come running back to him so he can reject her.

Rashmi tried to be normal with him initially in the show. But SS was abrasive so they'll hate each other forever.

This is obvious! Their relationship was never ended properly as Shukla still has sth for Rashmi, where Rashmi denied him completely. This is why he jumped on poor Arhaaan ! He provoked Asim too.
