Honestly you don't have to be a fan to defend someone. You can defend someone who you believe is being done wrong to them, and in return voice out your support and view of the situation.

This is what I'm applying for in Romil. I'm not a Romil fan at all (good to be neutral! 😉) but I felt he wasn't treated properly by the host, and I didn't like the whole biased manipulation of making him only look like the bad guy considering there are people who did what he was berated for as well as much bigger issues that needed to be addressed, specifically about Sree's awful remarks about his profession and family.

Yes of course.

Any weekly sum up that decides to paint Romil the villain for sleeping too much (when others have done that) over Sree the Man baby being a sore loser, creating negative atmosphere (again!) and ruining a task (again!), is ridiculously unfair.

The priorities are so twisted.

I believe both of you can agree to this:

Fans can also be considered lovers. You love something, you became a fan of it. Lovers can't always be fans ie: the spouse example Nathu brught up..

It depends on the actual context of when to apply fans to lovers.

so while I may be a fan of Deepak ( for all his shenanigans in the game) I simply am not his lover / liker... on the contrary i detest him
