Everyone and their grandmother's know that BB is shady. They'll manipulate contestants, give them cues and put them in situations that would generate the content they want and then edit the footage accordingly. They always have a narrative. When one fails, they move on to plan B. Though the way the season is going we'll probably witness their plan X too.
So yeah. The stage was all set for Sree's "redemption" arc but he spectacularly sabotaged himself. He's just too much of a narcissist for that at the end of the day. So now BB seems to be considering making him the villain instead. Not that they need to do much footage manipulation for that, the brat that he is.
Though I'll say the detergent thing is much worse than the mosquito repellent thing (which was awful, yes) because that's something Somi could have ingested inside her body. The side effects are more dangerous and it definitely would have ended badly if someone drinks that.
