Ragini scalded; shoots despite pain

Ragini Khanna, better known as Bharti of Bhaskar Bharti fame, was left with a burnt finger while shooting for her new show Sasural genda phool.

This little incident occurred when Ragini lifted the lid off a hot utensil. The actress though didn't pay much heed to her injury and kept shooting.

"I was shooting a sequence where I find myself fiddling with things in the kitchen. I've got to take the lid off a warm utensil. Unfortunately, the lid was still hot and thus I ended up with a burnt finger. Despite this grief, I continued shooting. The directors and the crew realized that I was hurt but didn't cut the scene so as to make the pain look authentic. Once the scene was over my assistant director rushed towards me asking about the seriousness of the injury. Then to my surprise, they all clapped and praised my performance. Their applause eased the pain a bit," said Ragini.

As the old adage goes - no pain, no gain. Well done to you Ragini.

wow she is brilliant actress me hv no idea why she did what she said she did ( to much of she's & did in that sentence 😆)
anyways love ragz always the new show SGP i was watching it last week
i just hv say this i love ragz what ever she does but the show is pretty boring + when it comes to the comedy side is worse!!!
i still dint get the magic what BB gave us now that's called comedy !!!

whenever i go to kitchen i burn food😆

thats why my brother put a sign outside the kitchen door saying 'ghazal shouldnt enter' 😆

Actually Tanu..i too feel like laughing at this article...i mean if she wanted to carry on shooting and not show she was in pain ther isn't a need for her to reveal it in an article..Could be another over exggerated article made by reporters...😆 😆....

Having said that i sympathize with her..cos i have been thru the same thing before...😆 😆..Not just with utensil lids..but also while baking...i stand so far away from the oven when taking out smth that i baked..i use not just oven mitts BUT also those silver metal tongs...😆 😆 😆 Precautions...Ver impt..and did i mention i stand a distance of 10m away from the oven...😆 😆...Now you must be thinking how long are my arms right...?...to stretch that far....😆...

Well kidding. .i can imagine.. i used to b very clumsy earlier.. but fortunately hv gotten better n can use the oven..safely within a few inches..away!! 😉

Tanu when i cook..(which is so very rare) i throw things inside the wok..like the spices and all i stand an aproximately 5 cm away and throw the spices in..ESP the Onions..they are SCARY ingredients!!..They attack back..cos you know Hot oil..then putting onions in like kinda creates slight popping sounds...😆 😆 and it lands on my arms..there was once when i used Oven mitts while cooking..like stiring smth....😆 😆..i tell ya the kitchen is dangerous....😆 😆...

OMG ..vini .. now i knw why ur FF had that 45 degree n 3 min/sec fall .. such detailing.. 😆😆 u seem to be a stickler for PERFECTION & DETAILING 😆😆😆

obviously dear if u put spices n all in the hot oil they will attack back.. 😆😆 but i actually njoy that bit of cooking a lot.. that sound n that spurt of oil.. hmmm.. yummy.. making me hungry now.. 😉

yh girl.. u better b away frm the kitchen ... DANGER LURKS in Hot Oils n Ovens.. 😆😆
