Rahul: Getting set for D-Day!

As Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega reaches its finale, BT takes a sneak peek into the preparations that are currently going on to celebrate India's first wedding live on television.

The wedding will have band baaja, naach gaana in true bollywood style! Who's the bride? Harpeet, Nikunj or Dimpy? Well, we'll know soon. The brides-to-be are all set to woo their prince charming for the last time before Rahul makes his big decision and chooses one of them. Ace Bollywood designers have designed some beautiful outfits for the girls for the occasions.

Besides wedding preparations, there will be celebrations spread over three days starting from the traditional mehendi ceremony to sangeet on the eve of D-Day.

There will be performances by Ashutosh and Zulfi, Sambhavna Seth, Shaleen and Daljeet, Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar and Saloni and Dhairya. Other guests include Shubhangi Atre, Sriti Jha, Poonam Goel among others. Saroj Khan has choreographed the mehendi and sangeet ceremony.

even i was a huge fan of Aamir and Sanjeeda i wouldnt watch this, the one with Rakhi was bad enough, all i can say is Aamir and Sanjeeda must be desperate, it isnt exactly ideal for their career to be seen on such shows

Actually me too was wondering why they perform for such a show..But i think it's okay..They love to entertain so yea..No harm..though the show is so stupid....😆

i disagree BIG time... the TRPs of that show r quite good.. so i dun think theres anything bad..!! Practically all major TV actors hv appeared on Rakhi ka Swayamvar n r following suit in Rahul dulhaniya...

i agree the concept n the show..sucks..but then..its doing pretty well.. so no harm in appearing i wuld say..

seriously though am a pr mananger and it is usually the desperate ones who agree to such things, even in uk. Aamir and Sanjeeda can pick anythin, why this

shows u what the indian public is like then and to be honest there isnt really anyother gd programmes on that channel...... it still desperation to me....... this is one thing i know what am talkin about. If the indian public had brains, they would of made BB's trps higher instead of stupid shows......shows u the iq of our population. What gets me is, India is so full of culture when it comes to shaadi's, there big celebrations for all families and friends, no one can organise a shaadi like us Indians but comes along a tv channel and all our values are made a mockery off

Yes i agree that the majority population... whiles its time..watching Saas-bahu.. n dun give enouf credit to intelligent ..entertaining n gud shows like BB... AGREED...

but as far as the term DESPERATION goes..its ur own view.. i DISAGREE totally.. there was a time when ACTORs like Amitabh Bachchan or Dilip kumar wuldn Dance in MARRIAGE CEREMONIES of ppl.. but today.. every TOM dick or Harry.. is happy to PeRFORM in Marriage functions... and there is nothing derisive abt it..!! so it certainly isnt DESPERATION... its a gud way to appear in PROMINENT shows.. get NOTICED... be on the GOOD Books of Producers and MAKE MONEY... nothing.. derisive AT ALL..

hmmm interestin i don even watch dis i found whats the word ah yes desperate for publicity dat ppl ave appear on these such shows esp lyk big boss and then they doin shows lyk perfect bride and rahul dulhaniya am no suprised at rakhi doin dis buh seriously marriage aint a joke where u jus pick random tom dick n harry on tv 2 become bride or groom dats jus me opinion
