Profession/info about Education: I'm just about to enter my third year of university. Currently i'm completing my undergraduate degree in the Life Sciences and hope to attend graduate school for either pharmacy or physiotherapy - i am considering dentistry as well.

Date of birth: November 2nd - haha for all your SRK fans there, yup, i do happen to share my bday with him😆

How did you get started with India-forums? Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai! Hahah i had seen an episode of it at my friend's house and got hooked! So i typed it up on google and found my way here! 😃

Why the username shockalot ?😳Haha it's my first email, back in grade 6, my cousin and I were trying to think of something "cool" to use as an email address😆 She came up with shock_a_lot and it ended up sticking....i became lazy so i took out the underscores and have been using shockalot for everything online ever since😆

Hobbies: Sadly, i'm a very boring person so i don't really have a hobby LOL...i mean i do love to read, i love relaxing and watching a billion indian shows, LOVE to watch hockey, andd just hanging out with friends haha

Colour : Blue!

Food : Hmmm...toughie...i'm a complete foodie! Give me almost anything and i'll chow it down, although i am a slow eater 😆 Be it biryani, pizza, chow mein, i'm not very picky haha

Sport : HOCKEY, no questions asked! 😉

Outfit : I love wearing indian outfits, but for regular wear on a random given day, you'd find me in a comfy pair of jeans and a tshirt/hoodie

Serial : Hmmm...currently it has to be Miley Jab Hum Tum and Bhaskar Bharti😳 Although if you ask me about past favourites, i would go on and on😆 There's KZK (the prem-mukti episodes)...DMG (i have a love-hate relationship with it 😆)...Maayka (back when Shabd-Mahi were young, fresh and adorable!)...Remix, Bidaai (at times), KTH...i think i'll stop...otherwise i seriously would just keep going!

Movie : Must these questions be so tough!?😆 I have a top five for each genre, naming one would be a crime for me hahah...a few are Hum Tum, Black, TZP, JWM, IV, Hera Pheri...and again, i could go...as you can see, i'm not exactly a good decision/choice maker😆

• If your hourse was on fire and you could grab only 3 things before leaving, what would they be?Hmmm...if my family was inside, it would be my mom, my dad and my sister! If it was just me...that's a toughie...there isn't anything extremely precious in my house aside from a few picture albums, pictures of the spiritual leader of the faith that i follow...i guess i'd grab those and one of my dadi's last belongings that my dad cherishes and keeps safely.

• Do you believe hin ghosts? hahaha i'm in two minds about this...i do believe spirits exist, i haven't had any personal encounters but my dad has told me stories - now if those were real, or to scare me on halloween night when i was young, I never did find out 😆 But yes, i think i do...i wouldn't say ghosts per se...more-so spirits..not bad ones haha

• What do you value most in life? My family and friends, and the privilege of leading a comfortable life and having access to good education, which ism very thankful for.

• If you were one of two people left of this earth, and the other was the same sex as you; would you go gay?? 😛 haha i'd have to say no - personal choice though, i did have a friend who was gay back in high school so there's no hostility towards them from my side 😊

• What would be your dream job? Shahid Kapoor's secretary! 😆😳😳 *goes into dream world* hahaha i wish! 😆 Actually i'm not sure, i guess my dream job is any job that i enjoy, with decent hours!
  

• If you could have 3 wishes granted, what would that be?

1. That poverty is eliminated from this earth
2. That my parents/family/friends are always kept happy and healthy.
3. I have to have one greedy wish haha - that I could go back in time!

• If you had to change your name, what would you change it to? My name was actually Noorin for the first five minutes of my life...then my dad decided he couldn't pronounce it and they kept it as Shazia😆 Hmm..i think i'm going to go with Tiya or Mahi...although i've never given this a thought! 😆
  

• If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Surprisingly, i'd live right here in Toronto where i have lived for my entire life! I'd love travel the world but i think i'm happy here at home...although my second choice would be Orlando, Florida! Paris sounds nice too 😃
  

• What is important to you right now? Aside from my family/friends, it'd have to be my education and religion - material-wise, my laptop😛

• What crazy activities do you dream of trying someday? SKY-DIVING! I don't think i'll ever be able to do it...but i feel like i need to once in my life...Bungee-jumping's another one!

• Do you have any hidden talents? Does bathroom singing count?!😃
